Key Combinations with DXInput (DelphiX)

Hello everybody! I''m making a space game and when I tryed to detect when the user press the diagonals (Left+Up or Right+Down) I got stucked... I would like to do key combinations like when user press Up+Left and so on. I tryed: if IsLeft + IsRight in DXInput.States but a "Incompatible Types" message appear. What could I do? Thanks in advance. Delphi just rules!!!

if (isLeft in DXInput.States) and (isUp in DXInput.States) then ...

or alternativly:

if ([isLeft, isUp] * DXInput.States) = [isLeft, isUp] then ...

I couldn''t swear that that last one will work, but I think that is the right syntax.
