I have problems compiling some directx samples on my compiler -I use microsoft visual c++ 6 -Directx 7 source I included the lib files to the project and i still get errors. as far as i know the header files match up and i made it a win32 app not console =P any ideas? thanks in advance!

it appears ur missing an include file somewhere. when u included the libaries did u include them from the 7.0 SDK and not just the ones included in c++, which is 5.0

i forgot to deleate the old ones that where located in my compilers include folder
