I wanted to implement simple collision detection for my game. By simple I mean "simple to add collidable obstacles". I was thinking of creating the collision boxes in Milkshape 3d, and then doing a line/plane intersection check against each ms3d triangle. Of course I''ll implement some algorithm to easily dismiss far-away triangles. Is this a bad or good idea ? Does anyone have other suggestions on implementing collision detection ?
