What do you think about ADA?

Few days ago, I tried ObjectADA, an IDE for Ada95 written by Aonix (www.aonix.com). I didn''t know anything on this language. I''ve read some docs and tutorials and it seems to me to be a great programming language. A lot better than the actual popular products (Rebol, .NET, VB or Java...). What do you think about it?

The longer I go without programming Ada, the more I like it. At the time (for school projects) my general impression was that with Ada I was spending 10 minutes writing my program, and 45 minutes begging Ada to compile it. This annoyance is not helped in the least by the fact that in the vast majority of cases, Ada has a point.

.NET is not a language.
