I opened up a project in VC.NET, and it used about 3MB of RAM. After building the project, it shot up to 13MB. Then, each time I hit the build button, even though it didn''t need to compile or link, it sucked down about 10MB of RAM. Consistently. Anybody else getting shit like this from VC.NET?

Yes - though not quite that bad. Everytime I click on just about anything it consumes a couple megs, and upon dismissal a few hundred kilobytes are not freed.

Are you running on a machine with lots of free RAM?

Typically it consumes about 60 to 80 megs of memory after I compile my projects. It usually doesn''t keep increasing though, it stablizes around 80 megs.

In your case, it almost sounds as though the compiler isn''t being releasing it''s resources.
