How exactly can I turn up the level of warnings my compiler catches? That is how can I make it so my compiler catches more warnings? I am using Visual Studio 6 Enterprise edition and want to catch more errors with my C++ compiler Thnx He who laughs, lasts

Project settings-C/C++-General-Warning level.

In source code:

#pragma warning (push, 4)

or whatever warning level you want.

Aside: It is a common practice among programmers to "shut up" the compiler warnings (and sometimes errors) by misusing type casts. Try to avoid that.
