Anybody know what''s going on??? There are two versions of the billboarding sample... C++ and Visual Basic. Despite the different languages, one would expect them to look nearly identical when running... But the trees in the C++ sample look much better! Try hitting enter (or F2) to freeze the sample. The "VB" trees look like they are made out of pixels... while the "C++" trees look like photographs. It''s subtle, yet noticeable... but I can''t tell how the two samples differ. Does anybody know what''s going on?!? Thanks! Todd

Looks like the same alpha test value, texture filtering and resolution.

Still not sure why the VB sample doesn''t look as good as the C++ sample.

Any other ideas?
