How do I lodge a toolbar inside the taskbar, like the address toolbar?
I am trying to make a simple program that does this. Any help would be appreciated.
Hmm... I did something like that some years ago...
Source (in C) and binaries
It is a bit hacky, it is not a normal toolbar which can be moved,but it works... You have to copy the dlls to a directory in your path for it to work.

Look up the IDeskBand interface and search MSDN for "Creating Custom Explorer Bars, Tool Bands, and Desk Bands".
That should get you started, it''s not really all that tough to do.
