glutFullScreen() - AAARGH!!?!?!

I tried to use glutFullScreen, but my app flashes... I see bits of the desktop flashing too. I am not calling glutResize or anything like that after setting fullscreen. I looked through the glut API definition, but it did not give me anything useful Thanks --- Matt Benic "Ummm, you mean this aint bubba's-house-of-hillbilly?"
