I''ve never seen it, per se, however, I have heard of it. On #gamedev one time, I heard about a guy who had been trying to get function pointers within a class point to a function within the class, and had so many &/*''s, that he got one.

I''ve gotten it before, though I think on VC 4. Aparantly I overflowed the parser''s shift buffer. Should have known I shouldn''t use too many ?:''s.

Can you give exactly what happens on that line? I had simmilar problems with VC++ 6.0 which were fixed by applying SP 3.

Look around on the Microsoft Technet site for the error and its causes.

I got that error once (in MS VC++ v6), and I recompiled it and it worked! Such is life.
