The CST MURPHY model. About a year ago I had modeled this angry looking man in Zbrush. Starting with a low poly base mesh ( way under 1000 poly ) and slowly tacked on more sub-devisions as I worked away. When I reached a point I just abandoned the model as I do most often. But as I began to experiment with the free version of Unity, I felt the urge to bring the character to life. I had done animation and rendering out long epic cg movies would be fun but I really wanted to see if I could get him to walk in a game. This is how it started, you see. Just this goal alone propped the door of knowledge to open just a little. Since then I've had this kind of approach with my game design. The results snowball into more complex systems and before I know it I'm up to my eyeballs in code, but finding all of it fascinating.
