This Happy Buddha model has, believe it or not, a little over one million triangles. I used my anisotropic "metal" material on it, so it's not exactly lambertian diffuse but close. The hints of green and blue in the shadow are there because the Buddha was in fact rendered inside a Cornell Box (I did not bother uploading the whole scene as it's pretty much the same box as all the other renders), causing the left (green) and right (blue) walls to bleed onto the shadow (diffuse interreflection).
Note Buddha's left hand (from our perspective) seems to be damaged (or maybe it's just his toga (?), I can't tell for sure), anyway it's meant to be there -it was scanned as such.
