    python problems

I finished coding a small python module, but now I want to save it as an .EXE or at least something other then a text python format, not even a recognized as a full format. Help with that would be great!

    python 3d format

cheers to you guys! This will help alot:D

    python 3d format

What format do I need to save, or convert my 3d models in order to be able to load them into python. I have already installed pygame, so the object classes have already been taken care of.

    Python Web game

Perhaps I could people download the game in order to play it, rather then a web browser. I'm getting staight to training, so i'll see what I can do.

    Python Web game

No that's not what I mean at all. I want a tutorial for how to open up and use 3d graphics in applications for python. And different tutorials on the basics of python, I was just hopeing that someone could give me a small part of what I need in order to learn how to do this. I need tutorials, and that is what I am most concerned about. Anything would do, and the more the better! The point is if anyone knows particularly tricky parts of coding such an application, and provide a tutorial for it that would be great. A 3d rpg is just my goal, not where I want to start.

    Python Web game

That's not the point. That is exactly why I wanted the tutorials to get started. Using your analogy would be "trying to learn how to build a race car with nothing but a hammer"

    Python Web game

I am not used to 3d in general when it comes to using it in programs. I can create the models, but I have to to use them on an application. I would appreciate some help with python, more then anything though.

    Python Web game

I wan to create a game using python. I want it to have 3d capabilities, and a multi link ability, that are in games like world of war craft and everquest. The graghic part is no problem for me, I can model and texture around many things. The game it's self won't have very sophisticated graphics, but its the play ability that i'm going for, so I want it to fit into the web browser. What I need to do this is, tutorials for python on how to use 3d graphics in it. How to code in python from begginer to expert. Basically most tutorials would be helpful, anything that you would think would be aplicaible to that sort of game. Thanks in advance!:D

    Web based game project!

Thank you for all your help! I am going to try python, even though you don't recommend it, or I might use java. You misunderstood me though when I said that I wanted to creat something like hobowars. I meant I wanted the multi user capabilites, but I wanted to create a code a world like runescape. I would prefer to have it in the browser, but if it won't fit, i'll just have to make it an application that is installed on the computer, and links directly to a server like most multi game applications.

    Web based game project!

Well, I would like to create a game that is played directly in the browser page. Like www.hobowars.com, although not text base, but with a 3d engine. The 3d engine of course would not be very complicated, but enough to have at least some simplistic 3d graphics. I have all the 3d software and training I need, so that's not a problem. Could I use python with visual basic? I also have visual basic.net, but it's the education version.
  13. I am trying to develop a web based game, using visual studio's 6, which includes visual basic 6, C++ ect. I have a good grasp of the language, having taken several courses on it. However I can not find anything for the 3d support, and the web based support that his game would require. Please don't tell me that this is not the best language for programming it, I understand that but i'm a little short on cash and this is all I have. If you know a better program, please give me a name. At this moment though some information on how to use the programs I have for this would be a lot more helpful to me. Thanks to all of you in advance:D
  14. There has been something bothering me like a thorn in my side. I have been trying to install the SDL library into visual basic.net, but am unable to do so because I can't find the include library where I include the components. What's even worse is that the instructions I have to install the SDL library into visual basic.net are extremely hard to understand and plain right confusing, not because of my in-experiance in being a programmer, but the nature of the instructions. Please help me out if you already have the SDL library and know how to install it, to your visual basic.net.

    The elusive include menu

Yes I know that, but how do I include the main SDL file,I know where it is, but I don't know how to include it!
