    Cyberspawn video!

Looking good! I like the little bounce the pistol does when dropped :) How long until you can start kicking around chairs and plants? ;) Also, none of my players could play your .mp4 (it actually crashed two of them!), but I see you sneakily uploaded the video to youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWHvh9TxynU

    A month!?

Hurrah, welcome back! The textures are looking great*! Are you still making them yourself? If so, you've definitely got a knack for it :) The room also has a very ominous feel (probably because of the dim lighting), but the potted plants emanate a feeling of utter safeness with their little sparse trunks. Glad to see someone in the evil conglomerate of evil** has a green thumb! Anyhow, it's good to see you're managing to juggle work, real life, and game design! I may not post often, but I'm really looking forward to seeing it (or whatever project may spawn off of it, for that matter ;) ) (*although I should be honest, the wall molding looks stretchy!) (**it's just that evil!)

    Jumping around.

It happens to the best of us. I can generally go for a month without getting any real work done on a project, and then utterly destroy it with some crazy new system when I decide to return to it. (not to mention forgetting where everything is! If you're leaving a project, be sure to leave a few decent comments behind in case you return!) If only those monks could figure out what causes it and how to fight it. They have to be good for something >:( Also, there's nothing wrong with taking a break and just playing games for a bit. That's one of the big perks of not being a professional. Or maybe a nice small project is what you need :)

    Trudging ever forward.

Oh noes! Invasion of the box men! Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see how the particle system turns out :D

    Gamedev on the Go!

Train rides, plane rides, and the like are great for working on things (just wish I had more space on my bus!) I think it has something to do with your limit of options: Sleep or program ;) Glad to hear you plan to pick up HTML and CSS! If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to call me (about to finish my Web Design class, in fact :D ) May the code flow forth from thine hands!

    Announcing: Project Skirmish

Hurrah! If later on you need someone to whip you up a nice CSS for your site, I'd be honored to lend a hand :) Sounds like you'll have a head-start on your community for the game ;) Good luck!

    Distractions!

I love Stargate SG1! Stargate Atlantis is good too, but SG1 is just too awesome. You have to see the 200th episode. It's hilarious. They make fun of some of the older Sci-fi shows and the new main character's (Forgot his real name. I knew him as John Criton.) previous show, FarScape. Good times, good times... Can't wait for the next season to start! Anyone else here get the Scifi channel? Oh, and happy belated birthday! Here's a Baal :D

    Done and done.

Still awesome :D Heh, when I beat it, a purple cell came up and killed me xD If you ever decide to add something to it again, you might want to consider some sort of survival or time mode with highscores. That should add a bit to the replayability.

    Membrane Massacre 1.1

Woohoo! I win! Great job! Also, a little trick: Use the radar to aim your laser at enemies off your screen. Works really well :D It's amazing what you can make in ~14 days :)

    MEMBRANE MASSACRE! (SEMI-)RELEASED!

Awesome! Few things: -I had the same problem with the laser not appearing, but it still worked. -For the getting stuck on one pixel, maybe bumping into a wall should hurt it a tiny bit? That would fix it, right? The most annoying bug I ran into was on the final boss. When it froze me, I died, and I never unfroze. Even after dieing several times, I would always remain frozen and be forced to wait for the boss to come and kill me again. I was going to see if being frozen and then waiting to naturally unfreeze before dieing would fix it, but it wouldn't stop using freeze bombs and I gave up :'( Of course, crazy hard bosses like that are fun! Great game! I loved how you could use the laser to cut through the membrane and attack enemies on the other side :D My favorite enemies would have to be the red cells that charge at you in a group. Reminds me of zombies ^_^ Loved the backgrounds, foregrounds, and cells :D Although, I agree the strafe commands were a bit confusing :(
