    Fixed battle link, thanks.
  4. My RPG music pack is now available for license on the Garage Games website! http://garagegames.com/products/280/ The value is a full game's worth of Square-Enix style RPG music for less than $100. A great opportunity for hobbyist and startup game developers, as well as Torque Engine users.
  5. In January 2008 I will be partnering with Garage Games and it will be available on their store, at www.garagegames.com. My current website store will be reworked, and the product will undergo a rebranding. There will be new and improved music engineering, and a more complete bundle. Thus, December 2007 will be the last opportunity to purchase these content packs in their current iteration and terms of service. Thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in this product thus far. Happy holidays and New Year!

  7. How much $ would you charge?

[quote]Original post by Muzo72 I've always hated the per-minute rate. I don't think it's a good system creatively. It's not good for the developer because they shouldn't be deciding where to put music just based on minutes. It's not a good system for the composer because a flat, per minute rate doesn't include the difficulty in producing the music, and the project could drag on forever. I agree with Muzo72 that the per-minute rate idea is bunk. I generally charge a flat rate for said looping theme between 1-2 minutes, which is essentially a fee for my skill at writing and programming. In the event that that the developer wants something with live performers, I will also charge for the performer's time, the engineer's time, and my time as the session director.
  8. I am building an RPG shareware music library and taking requests for different types of songs to create. My goal is to make a catalogue that is universal to different types of RPG's and affordable to hobbyists and indie developers. I was wondering if any developers had suggestions for stock settings I should write for. (Different types of terrain, dungeons, battles, cities, etc.) The more creative you are, the more specific I can be. Thanks! -Matt www.2eastmusic.com matt@2eastmusic.com
