    I feel screwed... :'(

    Maybe you have already done this but you should check that the refresh rate your videocard outputs is the same as what the LCD can handle. I've had some problems with an LCD before (not really static but more like flickering lines) and it was caused by the videocard outputting an 85 Hz signal instead of 60 Hz. Jasper
