  1. Hi guys, AreaZ has already been released for a few short weeks not, i have recently added some much needed improvements. Cleaned the game up a bit more and added a new survival mode againsed waves of zombies. Your score is then posted on the leader board.   You have been deployed on the research facility, BioCorp. A deadly virus has broken out and appears to take control of dead bodies. They hunger for flesh and are not easily stopped.   The next task would be to improve on the player uprade code. The player is able to upgrade their traits of their hazard suit, eg, speed, agility, armor, fire rate etc. This is upgraded with the credits you collect throughout the game. And then after that we will need to look into some 2 player co-op.   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DarkFactionZA.AreaZ&hl=en [attachment=31740:Screenshot_2016-04-15-14-12-24.jpg]     - Survival Mode with high scores leaderboard. - 18 levels of zombie filled gore. - 6 different weapons to collect and test. - Loads of different zombies with varying difficulty to test you. - Overcome obstacles within the levels to advance. - Upgrade you character with skills like, fire rate, agility, speed etc. - Discover hidden parts of the story via information scattered throughout the levels. - Play enough to unlock achievements. This game is Google Play enabled.   [attachment=31741:Screenshot_2016-04-16-09-33-22.jpg] Stay tuned for more updates. It is exciting times for this game.   Regards, Rob

  3. Hi all, my android shooter is now available for free on Google Play. Decided that paid versions are not always the right way to go if you are an indie. It really needs some support!:-)  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DarkFaction.DarkProjectFull&hl=en     Dont forget to follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/DarkFactionZA   This game is on its 4th update so far. I will keep trying to bring out updates regularly to keep improving.   Thanks! :-)
  4. Hi guys, i have been creating a sci-fi action/horror RPG for android devices. Built in the unity3D engine, it took me just over a year and started as a quest to learn the Unity engine. Recently released, i am looking to keep working on it including one or 2 MINOR bugs. I encourage everyone to give it a try:-) I am working on a build issue currently where S4 phones will not start the application. However if you have another rather high end phone, i would love some feedback. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DarkFaction.DarkProjectFull&hl=en   Regards, Rob http://darkfaction.blogspot.com

  10. Hi... Im currently looking for a new challenge to keep myself busy with and im interested to start developing games and apps for the iPhone or iPod touch... I dont really know where to start. I know you need a macbook and there are some windows workarounds, but what API, programming language and what compiler does one need to download? Which are the best ones. Another thing... Which API is used to programme 3D games? Keep in mind i wanto do it from scratch to learn... I dont wanto use any engines etc... Thanks alot!

I can detect when a key is pressed like: bool KeyPressed(UINT uiID) { if(m_uiKeys[uiID]) return true; return false; } I cant for the life of me detects when it is released in a different function... bool KeyReleased(UINT uID) { // Code here... } Whats the best way to detect the key release. Im using C++ and the Win32 API... Thanks!
