  2. Hey,guys. Im glad to be here to ask you somthing question. I have met a pazzle about the mesh normal today. that is: when I tried to add the lighting code to my renderer(using D3D9). but it can't work when I firstly draw a cube on the srceen.I have check the vertices of the cube have the correct normal info. after I check some articles and the dx sdk doc. then It goes well when I added "SetRenderState(D3DRS_NORMALIZENORMALS, FALSE);" to the rendering code. at that time. I found my word matrix have the scale info. now. I have found that the D3D FFP will transform the normals of the vertices. is it right? and if I must have the scale info in my world matrix. how can I deal with this situation by not use the D3DRS_NORMALIZENORMALS. sorry for my poor english....hope somebody can help me. thx for your reading.
