  1. You may get away with a call to App.DoEvents() after your call to Form2.UpdateWithData(). Hopefully, .Net has created a message loop for you since you haven't called App.Run() or Form.ShowDialog(). It is a lot easier to let the UI thread open and manage a UI window. Use Form.Invoke() to fire messages back to the Window from the worker thread.
