1. Dear users,     If I may borrow your attention, I would like to point out how much I, as well as many other fans, really hate when the game industry shuts down fan games that are never out to make money. In fact, I despise the very idea. What makes Youtube videos, fanart and fanficiton so special? Why is it always games?     I finally decided to be one who would put his foot down and say no to fan game c&d's (Cease & Desist). There are plenty of cool fan creations we could all play. That is why I made this petition.     I'm not going to suck up to having no fan games. If you agree, help spread the word. https://www.change.org/p/game-industry-allow-fan-games-to-be-created         Noah Bangs
2. Dear users,   I have constructed a game forum that is supposedly better than the majority of forums and has more lax rules.     I created it because I noticed that people were either being bullied/trolled or not having their voice/opinion heard. Those two things aren't tolerated on Virtual Haven. I hope that people will appreciate this forum given the generous rules and the fact that everyone will be acknowledged.     Go on and give it a try. It will probably turn out to be the best game forum ever created.     http://virtualhaven.proboards.com       Have fun,   Mastermind89
3. People around the world,       My name is Noah Bangs. I have set up a petition for the white house on petitions.whitehouse.gov, because I have discovered the cold, hard truth about energy companies.   Back in the 1800's, Russian inventor Nikola Tesla found a way to use perpetual motion to generate infinite, clean energy. But, greedy energy companies shunned this invention because they were afraid of losing profit.   Money isn't everything, though.   If this petition reaches the president or congress, we could see a huge change in the world today. Cars that don't require fuel, more businesses and enterprises, clear ozone, etc.   We could literally eliminate electricity bills forever.     Sign and share this petition if you agree.   https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/advocate-use-perpetual-motion-machines-good-earth/WrKck0M2     Noah Bangs
4. @ranakor: Thanks I will look into Unity's Digital Tutors.   @SymLinked: I also think it's sad that no one is willing to lend a helping hand. Although the people who posted in this topic gave me some advice.   @jbadams : So they gave me advice all along? I guess I was just too ignorant at the time. I'm going to put in time and effort. Wish me luck.   @Everyone else: I understand the concerns and hints of advice. I guess I just wanted a head start in life. Looks like I'll just have to give making games a try.
5. GameDev,     My name is Noah Bangs. For as long as I've been on these forums, some people have criticized me for being inexperienced or some other reason. I tried multiple times to get help, but there was nothing. I updated my profile saying that I have Asperger Syndrome, even posted about it.   People might look at me with a different perspective now. My disability hinders my learning, and its heartbreaking. But my desire to get video games done never died.     Nobody, especially people with disabilities, deserve to be judged, criticized or anything else.     I can't make video games by myself. That is why I try each time to gather help. I am trying one last time to attempt to raise money, only this time it's for my sake. I don't want to live in shallow places and work dead end jobs my whole life. I want to be somebody.     Call me whatever you want, but you have to admit that I never gave up. If you want, fund my cause at the link below.   {Removed by moderator}     God bless,   Noah Bangs
6. Hello Gamedev.net,     Noah Bangs here. Yes I know, I'm a terrible game developer or anything like that.   The truth is, for those of you who don't know, I have a disability that hinders my learning and skills.     My diagnosis is Asperger Syndrome. I must live with it every second of my life.     I cannot develop or produce a game all by myself. This may come as a surprise to people who told me to just start doing things. That's the whole problem, I cannot just do things in a flash. Believe me people, I try every minute of each day to attain something feasible. This brings me to the point.     I have created, due to many people talking down to me about asking for large amounts of money, a very small campaign that only asks for $500, the minimum for IndieGoGo.     The project is called Smash Nation: Beta. It is an open-source prototype of the full game. I cannot implement everything because that would cost too much, especially when you live on limited income.   I only ask for a very small amount. You can contribute only if you want. I may be inexperienced, but I try very hard to get support. Comment whatever you want, but be civil.   http://igg.me/p/302359/x/775772     Thanks for your time,   Noah Bangs
7. Hello, Back in 2010, I stumbled across a game project created by Dave Wishnowski called Pro Wrestling X. Pro Wrestling X is a PC wrestling game built from scratch, made by fans, for fans. If this isn't enough, the creators have made this game open and moddable, which means we can add whoever (Owen Hart for example) and whatever we want (Animations, Moves, Weapons, Etc.). The Pro Wrestling X Kickstarter campaign is still active. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/prowrestlingx/pro-wrestling-x-bringing-back-classic-wrestling-ga Pledges range from $4 to $5000. If you pledge $50 or more, your character gets to be in the game. Hurry! There is only 9 days left with $60,000 left to go. Cheers, Noah Bangs
8. Thanks. I am sorry I didn't tell you guys before. I was just so passionate and hoping things would go well. I am now focused on more constructive ways to start. I currently am seeking 2D Concept Artists & Pitch Writers. Hopefully things would go better since trying with lousy pitch material doesn't work. Wish me luck.
9. Hi, I have, over the previous months, recieved some negativity (Especially by a member named Daaark) over me posting a lot of ads for game campaigns. Do you want to know why I post these things? First of all, I have Aspergers (A mental disorder that is part of the Autism spectrum). I have updated my profile so people know. More importantly, it is very difficult for me to make a game by myself when I have so much anxiety holding me back. That is why I post game ads and campaigns, because I can't do it by myself (and God knows college is expensive). But people don't seem to care enough. I know there are kind people out there, but most people are greedy jerks. So yes, Smash Nation, Reality, and all my other games are still in my plans, I just somehow need the funds to do so. I should probably ask for funds $2000 and below, because that is more reachable than others. Anyway, I just wanted to speak my mind. I know I am open to criticism, but thats a chance I will have to take. Cheers, Noah Bangs AKA Mastermind89
10. First off, Gridiron Gamepak wasn't my idea to begin with. Second, I have grown wise, and will not post my own project until I have made very good progress. So can I get a break?
11. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/623295442/the-gridiron-gamepak I heard about this new american football game a couple days ago. It's called Gridiron Gamepak. Created by D. M. Noye, This seeks to be the best football game anyone will ever play. In order for them to make it happen, they need to reach a funding goal of $25,000. If your a fan of Madden NFL, You will really love Gridiron Gamepak. Be sure to support them. Mastermind89
12. @LennyLen Ok I understand. @Daaark I CAN finish things. The reason I post projects is to see if people take a liking to them. We all have to start somehow, and right now I cannot get a job because I don't have a college degree, which most jobs require. College is expensive. True I am inexperienced, but what I just said is the hard truth for me. I guess you don't know it, but I have Aspergers. And do not tell disability excuses are worn-out. You don't know what it is like having a disability. I try and try to make a name for myself, but the world is cold, hard and mean. So give me a break, why don't you!?
13.
You need permission for that.
We will change the content so that it is all original.
14. @Daaark For your information, We're not kids. Second of all, We have experience and resources, and we intend to change the models to original models. Finally, This ain't no clone. In conclusion, If you ain't got nothing nice to say, don't post.
15. I'll admit. The other project pitches were a bad idea to start with. But I will say this, Me and my friend Tnec Priv are working on a game called, Shinobi Realm. It is a game solely based on the Naruto Shippuden series. It features customizable characters and an open world to explore. Because it is an MMORPG, you can play with your friends online. It is being made with the Unity 3D Engine. Support us at Indiegogo.
