[/quote] I still haven't decided exactly how I'm going to generate the waves of zombies, but they won't always be chasing you. I may have more come out at night, or more come in waves at various times with rests inbetween, etc...or maybe zombies only show up in certain areas of the city, with other areas being abandoned. It definitely won't be a constant stream of them. As for unlocking special items if you collect all the recipes...that's a good idea!

  5. This week in [URL=http://www.zombox.net][U]Zombox[/U][/URL] development.... -Books with crafting recipes can be found throughout the world. Dragging a book onto your character in the inventory panel will allow you to read its contents -A quick-craft panel has been added, that saves your crafting recipes and allows you to access them quickly. Clicking a recipe will add its ingredients to the crafting panel, for quick crafting (assuming you possess the necessary ingredients) -You can upgrade certain items and weapons in the NPC stores now. Upgrading an item or weapon will increase its damage/crit/etc stats. -You can build storage chests for stashing your items. There are 5 playable characters now, each with their own unique abilities and stats.   7. The game has been continually tested on iPhones since its inception a year ago The character is controlled with dual on-screen joypads. The in-game currency (zombucks) will be purchaseable in various quantities with in-app purchases. If you do not wish to use in-app purchases, you'll be able to earn currency by selling items you find and by killing zombies.

  11. I've added lots of new features to [url=http://www.zombox.net]Zombox[/url] in the last few weeks! The NPC dialog trees have been finished, the main sewers have been populated with persistent NPCs. You can now buy/sell from NPCs, heal them, and loot dead bodies. Also, 15 new dungeon sewers have been added, filled with zombies, rare items and secret rooms! The world now features an elaborate, underground sewer system that you can explore by entering/exiting various manholes throughout the city. The sewer system features shops, medic stations, etc, and will eventually be filled with NPCs -- the remaining survivors of the apocalypse -- who you'll be able to interact with.
