1. Hello to all users, I have a simple question for more of us. I am developing a project and I need to calculate if two line segment intersect. is there any mathematical way to do that? With more details: Segment_1 is from point A to point B, where A=(X_a, Y_a, Z_a) and B=(X_b, Y_b, Z_b) Segment_2 is from point C to point D, where C=(X_c, Y_c, Z_c) and D=(X_d, Y_d, Z_d) Is there any condition between the points coordinates that determines if the two segments intersect? Thanks in advance
2. Thanks Crowley for the advices in general! I already implement your non-library/direct algorithm and works fine and it is fast!!! Thanks All the best
3. Hello Crowley99, do you have some links that can help us implement one of the two given algorithms? Regards, Dimitris

5. your post was helpful, that's why I gave you points in reputation. I just wanted to have a second advice, and because the previous topic was in general polyhedron, that's why I posted again. Cause in the previous post I mentioned that they are convex only in an inside message
6. Hello to all users, I need to calculate the intersection of two given CONVEX 3D polyhedrons. How can I do that? I know the x,y,z, coordinates of each vertex and also the triangles list that I use to draw each polyhedron. Any help would be very very appreciated. With regards, Dimitris

9. Thanks for the reply - I will try to implement your algorithm
10. Thank you for the answer, it really helps me. But I am afraid that I can't find exactly in which part of the code I have to change just to select my projects window (that is the active window) and not the whole screen. Thank you in advance
11. Sorry for the late answer, yes the polyhedra are convex
12. Hello to all users, I am using visual studio 2010 and I have a simple win32 project (that reads a polyhedron from a file and shows it). My problem is that in that project I want to save the opened window (that shows the polyhedron) as an image. Or to say it more general, how can I save the opened window as an image (for example as jpp, bmp etch)? Attention, that I use win32 project, NOT windows form application. Best regards, Dimitris
13. Hello to all members, I would like to ask something very simple. Given three Points (x1,y1,z1) (x2,y2,z2) (x3,y3,z3) When these points are collinear?
14. Hello to all users, I'm writing a Windows From Application project in visual studio 2010. My application can run normally to other computers, but when I add #include <msclr/marshal.h> then it doesn't run in other computers, although it runs perfectly in mine computer. What can I do for that matter? Is there any solution? Any help will be appreciated! With regard, Dimitris
