    great recomendations, thanks :) I will also see 'what customers viewed' and that stuff, maybe it will show some more great resource.   and by the way, would you recommend some painting techniques book but what can be applied to digital media? there are lots of tutorials about digital painting focused on how to make a photo looking like a painting, or too technical (where's more functions than actual pencil strokes) so if you can think about good tuts in this topic I'd be thankfull again :)

    Lighting/Shading in 2D

    Hey!   I'm having some issues with thinking in terms of light and shadow and properly rendering my scenes. By scenes I mean just composition with pencil and paper - not some kind of 3d view :)   I'm finding some tips and 'recipe' how to do it in anatomy or figure drawing book but I need some help in thinking in those terms and how to use it from imagination - and not only in single pencil drawings but also in terms of colours, movement etc     I don't know how to express my problem really but hope did it well ;)   And another thing - I'd be grateful if you could let me know about resource/book that covers light and shadow in humanistic way - how it affects emotions, storytelling, relations and other stuff :)

    my paint looks pretty cool :) I'm using 1.0 version but it sometimes blocks up brush strokes and think I'll go to 1.1 version even if they say that's unstable cause 1.0 is unstable for me too :)

    Pressure detection in GIMP

    I'm experiencing troubles with pressure detection in GIMP. I can draw with tablet but it ignores how hard I press. How to configure it properly?   Pressure is configured to 3 as it's recommended where I was finding some help, that was by default so I don't now whats wrong With any brush - no detection. I'm using pressure opacity mode. Thx for any help

    Ok, but have you any tutorials showing how to do it in that style? you may notice that style also in cut the rope on even birds.

    Doodle animation

    How to easily achieve that effect that all asset is hand drawn animation? It's very popular in puzzles for ios and android.   There's also some stylizations only - there are lines that makes graphical noise. And in some games you can turn it on and off. How to create it? It's good because you don't need to create every asset in that style but just put the mask with noisy effect. But how to make it then?
  10. How to achieve that nice, fat but irregular borders in Inkscape or gimp or Photoshop Elements? Borders like found in games called Paladog, Dungeon Rampage (you can find it on FB games) and most flash games, even most casual games. I found some tutorials on cartooning but they're showing a regular border but irregular gives best impression. Irregular may not be a best word to describe it. It doesn't look flat and in most tuts it does. Or is it just matter of good geometry? I don't think cause it may be a flat figure and it looks great. There's that style in cartoons like dexter.   I read that it's better to create that style in vector graphics program but I don't have iluustrator. Yet. Only inkscape for today :( I'd be gratefull for giving tips or links to good tutorials

    Is there any tips on crating 2d hand drawn and not-hand drawn animation in photoshop elements? Or just to make previous frame a bit transparent and draw then like if i had lightbox?

    Blender Game Engine - is it worthy?

    I'm learning Blender really hard now so I think learning its engine is good choice - there's fast option to try 3D objects in game. As you've said it's harder to do it in Unity, but I'll use BGE just for prototypes of  3D game ideas. Thanks for answers :)
  14. Hey! I tried that engine today, seems quite okay but is it good novadays? Can it be compared to more popular engines like UDK and Unity? Or is it just extra feature for great animation and modeling tool? Is it worth of time or it's better to spend it for ex on Unity?
