(Novarian, Intercontinential Counsil) Stable in places, not so much in others.   ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   ***STORY***                         Galactic year X187          It has been 187 years since Last Exodus - To maintain the survival of the human race                                                                                                                                                                       a total of 15 "ARCs" ( Armored Refuge Colony) launched into the vast abyss in hopes of finding livable conditions.                   Not all the ARCs were able to make it outside of the Sun's EM waves. Those unable   lost power to their vessels and froze to death in the deep recesses of space, their fleet   thus reduced to 7.  In order to maximize the potential of finding life in a new solar   systems the fleet spread out to cover maximum ground.          One of the vessels, the ARC Named "The Aquarion" was exploring a remote quadrant for    any signs of life. It was there they found the planet "Nova" One that somewhat resembled Terra/Earth.   What came next was unexpected!      THE MAGNETIC FIELD OF PLANET NOVA COMPLETELY   shut down the electrical system causing the ARC to crash into the planet. The Aquarion   was primarily a civilian vessel. No one or nothing truely important resided on it.           Maybe it was coincidence, or fate? But this planet was exactly what they were looking for.   The part they were not prepared for however is that on this planet the EM field opperated at          * Dense core of rare material That causes EM field.   a diffrent frequency from most other places in the universe. Stranded, alone, and unable to    call their fleet for help. The Terrans were forced to turn to the straange nature of this foreign    planet for survival. A planet where  depending on the angles and positions of their twin suns   the sky is set a blaze with magnificent ever changing hues of color.    Strange vegitation the size of small buildings, and monsters even larger.    THEY SOON LEARNED THEY WERE NOT ALONE ON THIS STRANGE WORLD....          The wayward travelers encountered the Anjyri, a race whose perception, intellect made up for   their lack of height, and physical stature . They extended a hand in friendship to the Terrans, and as the years passed by they slowly   helped the Terrans adjust to life on Nova. Now once the other races found out about the Terrans, and their technology, they came to  be reveered and    worshiped. Terran technology was believed to be a blessing from the gods, the savior of Nova. However every yin has a yang....     In the midst of the jubilee, the Kodian army in began a great purge of Nova in the name of the Void. They first launched a campaign on the North    western edge of Kodonia, formally part of Ry;Quia and made quick work of any opposition. They then set their sights on Anjyria,   heavily outnumbering the Anjyri forces 3-1, but with the help of the Terrans, they were able to produce steam powered firearms.  With new    weaponry and the Terrans high knowledge of tactical combat they made quick work of the enemy. Victory it seems did not come without consequence.   In order to fund the war effort Steam Arms were sold to "independent interests" a problem still plaguing the planet to this day.   70 years have now past since the Terrans first arrived on Nova, and in the small amount of time there, the technology they brought has almost    brought ruin to the planet.                                                                            In order to protect Nova from another great catastrophy "N.I.C" (Novian. International. Counsilite) or the Counsel for    short were started to promote peace. For now things are stable, economies are recovering, and some are begining to forget, and    live in harmony. But peace never last long? Have a few cities but mostly refugees   -Basir. an Anjyri Astral Slinger is The "High Judge" of the Magistrate. *    -Learn of secret plot by the Anjero. They just want the technology. Mystery   -Sol claims responsibilty and starts the "New Dawn"   - The civil war ends   -Is declared a wanted fugitive by the counsil.   -Sends Basir to ensure that Sol's actions don't get out of hand     EPISODE 2 : CALAMITY   -Claims the counsil is weak and frail and disgraces their name. And the name of Basir the Anjyri High Judge for not taking action to protect his own people.   -Basir challenges him to a duel.   -Sol defeats Basir. Basir dies in explosion.   -New Dawn declares war on the council for freedom and justice.    -Take a side. "New Dawn", "Council", or "Neutral"   -Sol plans to open gates on the Tri-Lunar eclipse to realease astral beasts to fight for him   -It pereminatly throws open the gate.   EPISODE 3: DARK PRELUDE.   -MEANWHILE... THE SECRET IG'NIR WORSHIPERS OF the dark godess  Verna Vi Vermila, who have infiltrated a core section of the church have convinced adventurers to destroy 99 soul stones all over Nova. Once the last sould stone is destroyed the episode will end. And the        *VYERNA GODDESS OF DESTRUCTION . church will reward those who found and destroyed these stones.   - Too many astral beasts start to get through the gates. EPISODE 4 INTO THE ABYSS   RACE QUEST. THE CHURCH HAS ANOTHER MISSION TO ALL THE ADVENTURERS OF NOVA. FIND THE "HERETIC"  IG'NIR  WOMAN AND BRING HER TO THE CHURCH TO ANSWER FOR HER CRIMES. FIRST ONE TO FIND HER GETS REWARD. ONCE SHE  IS FOUND AND TURNED IN, THE CHURCH PERFORMS SOME DARK RITUAL ON HER. APPERENTLY SHE WAS THE VESSEL THAT  HOUSED VYERNA'S SOUL, TO BIND HER. WITH THE VESSEL DESTROYED VYERNA IS FREE TO WALK ONCE MORE.  IRONICALLY SHE HAS BEEN ON NOVA FOR ABOUT 2,100 YEARS. SEALED IN WHAT AS KNOWN AS THE "DARK STAR"   -Once she is defeated in her giant form she sheds off her outer shell and emerges a radiant beautiful woman imbuned with dark energy.    -She flees declaring her return. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   ***GAMEPLAY***   Hack and slash Action!   Action combat rpg system. ALL PRETIGED CHARACHTERS WILL BE REFERED TO AS "REBORN [class]"  ie REBORN SWORDSMAN, REBORN DESPARDO.       ***CLASSES***   Base level system, and Job level system. In class system, players start as Novice and at level 10 have choice between  18 initial classes. These are:   1. Neophyte. 2. Squire 3. Martial artist 4. Thief 5. Gunslinger 6. Rifleman 7. Scout 8. Flame Esper 9. Conjurer 10. Wind Esper 11. Scholar 12. Acolyte 13. Celestilist 14. Water Esper 15. Arcaner 16. Apothecary 17. Dark Mage 18. Archer   Each of the 18 Classes also has their own grooves. Depending on where you learn the class at in the world you may have slightly different skills, offering a unique gameplay.    Example    *NEOPHYTE          DASH GROOVE            FENCING GROOVE                               SAMURAI GROOVE                             - . At Level 25 they can choose EITHER: One sword, or two swords     MASTERIES        BURST|COMBO     SPEED|PERCESCION                       HALF MOON| FULL MOON   Here you see Neophyte has three grooves. Dash, Fencing, and Samurai.   Players will recieve 50% of skils from their base/core class tree, the other 50% comes from the groove type.  So if a player is a Fencing Neophyte He will gain half skills from Neophyte, and the other half will be made up of speed and percscion.  Your skill chart will look something like this.     ______________NEOPHYTE__________________ | SPEED                      CORE                        PERCESCION| |AGI +|                       STAB                       SURE STRIKE|  - raises dex by [x]%   etc   etc                             etc     After players reach level 25 Job 20 they can advance in their respective skills in 2 ways. Specialist, or Hybrid.   The first way is to continue on one of two of your class tree. An example of this would be:   A Level 25/20 Neophyte can choose to specialize in One sword or two swords.    Even though two swords isn't useable by Neophyte once they become Dual swordsman, they will gain a    skill that allows them to use 2 swords. And any active, and passives from the custom neophyte class will   carry over.   The second way would be hybrid, also known as class synthesis.    You can also choose to learn another basic skill set.    A level 25/20 can choose to be anything else, example of this would be a Fire Esper.   Instead of normal sub classing, class synthesis seeks to reward players for being "unique"   So instead of being a Neophyte - Fire esper the classes will be checked and replaced by a combined class   I.E. Neophyte + Fire Esper = Flame swordsman.    The new class will track all skills you have learned, and give you a customized skill chart, to skills that only    you can use.     ***STATS***   Stat system invovling the following:   STR. TOTAL WEIGHT CARRY. ATTACK MAX VIT. HP. KNOCKBACK RESISTANCE. CON DEF. STATUS RESISTANCE INT. MAGIC MAX. CRAFTING, MANA 1 DEX ATTACK MIN.CAST TIME. MANA . STAMINA FOCUS RANGED ATTACKED MAX, M POWER MIN. MANA. STAMINA LUK CRIT %. + BONUS TO ALL STATS FOR EVERY 5 PTS OF LUK AGI MOVEMENT SPEED, ATKSPD PER. RANGED ATTACK MIN, CRIT MIN    At charachter creation players will have 20 points to alot into any of the 9 Stats. Each race will also have 20 of genetic stats that cannot be changed and will add to their stats. (See races above)   Each time a player gains a base level they get  more points to alot.     Hello Gamedev. net Community!             The name is Chris, and I am 23 years old. Currently am in my first year of college. I am enrolling in school for game design and have made small projects in the past with Dark Basic, and Rpg Maker. Nothing huge or to brag about but I understand some of what is needed to complete a game. I also edit video, and write screenplays.           Moving past the introductions, I am in the process of initial creation of my open world RPG titled " Amethyst Gear".   I am looking for:   1-3 Developers with fresh Ideas, concepts, and story suggestions.   Must be able to work within small to large group dynamics.   As this is initial development. Have a few cities but mostly refugees   -Basir. an Anjyri Astral Slinger is The "High Judge" of the Magistrate. *    -Learn of secret plot by the Anjero. They just want the technology. They don't care about the terrans.   -Mostly He say she say.    -STILL TENSION BETWEEN ANJERO AND THE KODA. LONG STANDING RELIGIOUS CONFLICTS   -Anjyri civil war brewing, counsil refuses to take action.       -Recieve orders to quell Episode 1 : NEW DAWN   -Anjyri civil war is in full swing.   -Rebellion is being crushed.   -A mysterious masked figure known as Sol appears and turns  the tide of battle   -Local Leader of the Anjyri is assassinated. Mystery   -Sol claims responsibilty and starts the "New Dawn"   - The civil war ends   -Is declared a wanted fugitive by the counsil.   -Sends Basir to ensure that Sol's actions don't get out of hand     EPISODE 2 : CALAMITY   -Claims the counsil is weak and frail and disgraces their name. And the name of Basir the Anjyri High Judge for not taking action to protect his own people.   -Basir challenges him to a duel.   -Sol defeats Basir. Basir dies in explosion.   -New Dawn declares war on the council for freedom and justice.    -Take a side. "New Dawn", "Council", or "Neutral"   -Sol plans to open gates on the Tri-Lunar eclipse to realease astral beasts to fight for him   -It pereminatly throws open the gate.   EPISODE 3 DARK PRELUDE.   -MEANWHILE... THE SECRET IG'NIR WORSHIPERS OF the dark godess of Chaos Verna Vi Vermila, who have infiltrated a core section of the church have convinced adventurers to destroy 99 soul stones all over Nova. Once the last soul stone is destroyed the episode will end. And the        *VYERNA GODDESS OF DESTRUCTION . church will reward those who found and destroyed these stones.   - Too many astral beasts start to get through the gates. EPISODE 4 CHAOS IN THE ABYSS   *RACE QUEST* THE CHURCH HAS ANOTHER MISSION TO ALL THE ADVENTURERS OF NOVA. FIND THE "HERETIC"  IG'NIR  WOMAN AND BRING HER TO THE CHURCH TO ANSWER FOR HER CRIMES. FIRST ONE TO FIND HER GETS REWARD. ONCE SHE  IS FOUND AND TURNED IN, THE CHURCH PERFORMS SOME DARK RITUAL ON HER. APPERENTLY SHE WAS THE VESSEL THAT  HOUSED VYERNA'S SOUL, TO BIND HER. WITH THE VESSEL DESTROYED VYERNA IS FREE TO WALK ONCE MORE.  IRONICALLY SHE HAS BEEN ON NOVA FOR ABOUT 2,100 YEARS. SEALED IN WHAT AS KNOWN AS THE "DARK STAR"   -Once she is defeated in her giant form she sheds off her outer shell and emerges a radiant beautiful woman imbuned with dark energy.    -She then goes into hiding and works her   .
