  1. We're looking for a Unity (C#) Programmer for our 2D Project. We're looking for a new lead programmer to continue with an existing project. Project is an open-world RTS, and is very close to a prototyping (playable) phase. Our existing lead, unfortunately, has no more time for the project, and thus we are in search of a new one who is interested. Game is purely fantasy based, and we'll be able to give you much more detailed info about the project as we begin to work you into it. You'll be working with our junior developer, who has been here since the beginning. Primary skills needed are just being able to work within Unity. But skills within XML are also a plus. Our list of major goals we'd need you to do is minimal, yet still fairly extensive: -Edit our current Pathfinding system to account for a few extra features. -Setup our global map system. You’ll be working off an existing random node-map web generator and existing random map generation system and essentially linking the two together. This includes handling random spawns (which has already been semi-setup) unique to each node’s respective map. -Further implementation of an existing random spawning algorithm (used to spawn things like enemies randomly across the Map). -Making sure to Save and Record all respective aspects of what was mentioned above. -Handling our XML database- database is created, but we’ll need to be integrating it. This includes all various things from units to abilities and so forth. Will also need to handle implementing an object’s unique attributes we cannot take care of within XML. -Various Content Implementation (to be done once our XML has been integrated). -Various Saving and Recording of all respective aspects of the database info mentioned above. -Various Performance Enhancements. -Potential for various misc things, such as further UI work. -Setting up a Menu system. We have a considerable amount of things done already- however I must warn ahead of time we have quite a bit of unclean code, which may be fairly overwhelming for a new developer on the project. Let me know your rates per hour, and we'll see if we can work out a good deal between both of us. Royalties are also included. If interested, send an email to: eldwin11929@yahoo.com Thanks!

Game is purely fantasy based, and we'll be able to give you much more detailed info about the project as we begin to work you into it. You'll be working with our junior dev, who has been here since the beginning. Primary skills needed are working within Unity. And skills with XML within Unity. Our list of major goals we'd need you to do is minimal, yet still fairly extensive: -Implement an already created pathfinding system (from the Unity Asset Store) to replace our existing pathfinding system. -Work with an existing random-node-web generator to act as our 'global map', interworking our random map generator to use the node creator as its respective 'world map' (this one is the most extensive, and we'll need to discuss it quite thoroughly before having you start with it- our junior dev is the one who created the node system, so he'll be able to assist you with the integration phase). -Work with an existing random-spawner to spawn desired objects across our map (desired objects change based on what map within the world this map is, so we'll need to discuss it more, but its not as extensive as interworking the random node generator). -Integrating our dual-map system that runs a static map (acting as player's home base, static, never changing) alongside the exploring map (which is dynamic, and changes quite often). This is relatively implemented already, but we'll need to mess with it further still. -Work with an existing XML database to implement it into the project. There's no integration yet, so it'll need to be from the ground up. But we have the database setup and ready to work with. -Content-implementation (after all else is done, this is to take care of anything that needs to be 'hard-coded', ie unique spell effects, etc- nothing too crazy) -Various performance enhancements (like setting up a simple easy-on-performance enabler/disabler to hide objects to save on performance... and other things we'll need to discuss- again, nothing too crazy). -Implementing a simple menu system, alongside an adequate saving system (saving system will be similar to Skyrim). But we'll also need to ensure saving a considerable amount of extra things- from Map Exploration, to World Exploration, to hotbar setups, to all the misc data like units, location, resources, and so forth. Let me know your rates per hour, and we'll see if we can work out a good deal between both of us. Royalties are implied. If you feel you'd be able to accomplish all of the above, then we'd definitely like to work with you. Obviously- we won't know how to implement everything until we get to the physical code. But just making sure you know of this ahead of time so you know exactly what you'd be getting into is much more beneficial for both of us. If interested, send an email to: eldwin11929@yahoo.com Thanks!
  3. We're looking for programmers for our project. Our project is being made in Unity Requirements: -Skills in Unity -C# -Javascript -Node.js We're looking for programmers who can perform a variety of functions on our project. Project is a top-down hack-and-slash pvp dungeon-crawler like game. Game is entirely multiplayer based, using randomized dungeons, and a unique combat system with emphasis on gameplay. We have a GDD to work off of, and a Lead Programmer you would work under. Assignments may include: -Creating new scripts of varying degrees specific to the project (mostly server-side, but sometimes client-side) -Assembling already created monsters/characters with existing or non-existing code. -Creating VFX -Assembling already created environment models If interested, please contact: eldwin11929@yahoo.com This project is unpaid, but with royalties. --- Additional Project Info: Summary: Bassetune Reapers is a Player-verus-Player, competitive dungeon crawler. This basically takes on aspects of dungeon crawling, but with a more aggressive setting. Players will have the option to play as the "dungeon-crawlers" (called the 'Knights', or "Knight Class", in-game) or as the "dungeon" itself (literally called the 'Bosses', or "Boss Class", in-game). What this means is that players can choose to play as the people invading the dungeon, or as the dungeon-holders themselves. Key Features: -Intense, fast-paced combat -Multiple skills, weapons, and ways to play the game -Tons of different Bosses, Minibosses, creatures and traps to utilize throughout the dungeon -Multiple unique environments -Interesting, detailed lore behind both the game and world -Intricate RPG system -Ladder and ranking system -Lots of customization for both classes s of customization for both classes

Bassetune Reapers || PvP Dungeon Crawler

Getting very close to a raw prototype, we're very excited about it. Thank you for the comment!
  6. Hey GameDev community!   We're currently developing a game titled "Bassetune Reapers". This game takes on a heavy multiplayer aspect with emphasis on player-versus-player dungeon crawling hack-n-slash combat. Players will either be able to control a huge boss and lead a dungeon, or play in a group with 2 others who are invading the dungeon. The game has emphasis on fast-paced combat, with a large variety of ways to play the game that players can attune to their liking. The game is meant to be a competitive online title exclusively, with ladders/rankings and an RPG leveling system. There is a large variety of bosses, minibosses, creatures, weapons, and skills in place for players. The two divided factions, Knights and Bosses, are both entirely unique and widely different from one another.   As for our team, we are a small but very active and very passionate group. The game is currently underway, with a raw prototype hopefully somewhere soon.
