Hello,   We have just finished our first gameplay demo for ASCENT, a platformer inspired by games such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. :)   ASCENT features two stranded heroes, Bluu and Blip, who must ascend a gigantic tree to escape an alien world. Encountering a ruthless species known as the Aphids, along with the aggressive wildlife of the mysterious planet, this makes for a dangerous and lengthy journey.   Here is the gameplay:     Any thoughts and feedback much appreciated!  :)   Many thanks!

Hi guys,   I am working on a demo for my platform game ASCENT (inspired by games such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro).   It is being produced in Unreal Engine, which I am quite new to, so please take a look and let me know what you think.     I've designed the game from concepts through to gameplay. Hello,   I have been working on some level design for our game ASCENT.    ASCENT is a co-op platform game in development, and I've recently produced our first level in 3D.     I'm going for a 3D 90s platformer look (obviously with better graphics  ), just want to know what you think about the look and feel of the level and if you'd play something like it?     ASCENT Platform Game Update

    ASCENT Platform Game

    Yeah that's a good shout, I am intending for ASCENT to be very stage based. Though being a 3D platform game where each level is connected to the next, you have to complete (or mostly complete) an area before moving on, it becomes more open world and less linear as the game moves forward, eventually becoming pretty open world, with optional levels/bonus games etc.   Portals will be scattered around the map for quick travel, but you can only use these once they have been discovered.   Thanks a lot for the advice, still in the planning and concepts stage so this sort of stuff will help to mould the game!
