  1. About The Cat Virus The Cat Virus will be a First Person Shooter about when a virus appears, turning people into humanoid, catlike creatures.   Plan It's probably going to be made with Unity, because that's the best option. I'm making a 2D prototype, but all I have is a player with movement input and another, dummy NPC.   Not exactly sure how the game mechanics will work, but the main goal is to kill all of the infected (who are hostile, by the way) with saving as many non-infected as possible.
  2. Hallo!   You may have remembered me from earlier posts, but I'm not here to talk about that.   You see, I've been trying to make a good, viable first game to start off with, and I've decided with making a Slender game (of course you know what that is ).   I've even made a first version, the link will be up soon, if you want to check it out.
  3. You probably remember me from the Cult Simulator thread, but I have since realized that it's too big of a project.   You see, I've been working on games for years, but I'm really new when it comes to skill level.   I've started on countless projects - but I've never finished them.   I'm thinking about making a game that I would be able to able to publish on a site for free, but not too small so that it can't be published.   I've already completed a game once in Gamemaker: Studio - a Pong Clone, but I have since lost the files.   EDIT: Whoops, posted in the wrong fourm.
  4. yes, of course I do, but I'm not really sure how to.   Although it seems interesting, I'm not sure how that would work.
  5.   Thanks! That's very good insight, and I could see myself (and the other person whom I'm working with) go the more serious route. If you (or anybody else, for that matter) wants to see more technical details of this project, then here you go: It's going to have ASCII graphics Perspective is going to be top-down Programmed with Python
  6. Well, as the the title in this thread suggests - it's going to be about a simulator idea that will be controversial.   Heck, it might even spark a debate on this very thread.   Obviously, you may be wondering, "what is this simulator about?' well, I'll tell you: a Cult Simulator.   Yep, you saw it right - a Cult Simulator. I personally think that this is an interesting concept that will bring a new light to the simulator genre.   Of course, I'll be hearing from the opposite side of the debate soon.   So, for those of you who have managed to read this far, here are the gameplay mechanics: When you start a new game, you can customize the player's and the cult's attributes - player e.g. intelligence, creativity. cult e.g. rules. Create ranks for the cult Once your cult grows, it begins to gain media attention - e.g. cops will go after it, religious institutions will ban it, etc. So, what do you think? Please give feedback in the comments below!
  7. I'm thinking about making a wiki on wikia for people who want to make voxel games. I'm thinking of making the front page look like this: Tell me what you think? Should I or shouldn't I? Or, do you want to help me with this? Please Reply!
