    Engine/Framework for web games?

      I would also recommend LibGDX, it uses Java and has cross-platform capability so you can port your code for Desktop, Android, iOS and Web. I just recently started using it myself         Thank you! I will check it out.

    I`m familiar with haxe already so that`s a great idea.  Is unity well optimized for web?     Looks great but i rather use coding instead of visual scripting     Thank you i will take a look at it.

  5. Hi, I`m getting this very weird error when i try to load my shader code from an effect file next to my executable. An unhandled exception of type 'System.AccessViolationException' occurred in SlimDX.dll Additional information: Attempted to read or write protected memory.     Thanks for the quick response and advice. The unity add-on is precisely what i`m looking for. I`ve modded goldsrc but would i be able to publish it?
  8. Hi, I`m planning on developing a small single player fps game in my spare time and i`m having trouble finding an engine that fits my needs. I`m looking for an engine with great level designing tools(kinda like source`s hammer) and that doesn't use lua for programming. I don`t really care about the graphic capabilities as long it doesn`t look like wolfenstein 3d.   Iv`e used unity and unreal before but unity pro is expensive and unreal feels to much for my little project.   Does anyone have any advice  :huh: ?
