Need feedback on my new game Stealthy Ninja

I have the zoom in and zoom out feature now added to the game.  I couldn't upload the videos here due to the size, but when you start Stealthy Ninja in full zoom in mode it will start the level at full zoom out and zoom all the way in to your preferred zoom.  When you start at full zoom out mode, it will start the level at full zoom in on your ninja and zoom all the way out to your preferred zoom.  This now lets users see the full map before starting the level, or see where the ninja is if they play the full map view mode.
  2. Nice work, keep it up!  I'll let you know if I use anything and will be sure to donate to keep you going.

Here are some closer zoom shots of the game play, which are simply screen shots I took after going in to the settings and setting the zoom to another of 4 possible settings.     [attachment=35041:Screenshot_2017-02-23-17-26-33 small.png] [attachment=35042:Screenshot_2017-02-23-17-28-06 small.png]

    Stealthy Ninja

  5. Hi I checked out your game - nice job!  Just some minor feedback would be to give a choice of sensitivity in the controls as I thought it was a little fast at first but I think I could get used to it.  I was using it on my tablet and felt having it in landscape view might have been more comfortable but again, I could probably get used to that too. My guess is that it's more designed for phones.  I didn't like how there was no way to exit with my back button, so a little annoying to have to minimize it and then open all my apps to hit the x button to finally close it.     I gave you 5 stars in Google Play.  Would love if you checked mine out, Stealthy Ninja, and let me know what you think of it - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy   Thanks, Darryn

The Weave of Heroes - A pocket-sized RPG

Hi, I went to download it but it's not available in my country.  I assume it's because of in app purchases as I'm under "rest of the world".   You've definitely made a convincing write up with nice pics.   You're welcome to check out my app Stealthy Ninja as I'd love some feedback on it.  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy   Thanks

Need feedback on my new game Stealthy Ninja

Thanks for the feedback @soulfulpumpkin.  I think you hit the nail on the head on a few of the complaints and I am addressing them now:   1 - Speed.  I've increased the speeds by 10% as a start.  The goal was to get users interested in improving their ninja and speed was one of them.  I see how it can simply turn them away before even interesting them!  I think a 10% increase is a good start.  That is now done and will be in production in the next day or two.   2 - Controls and where the character are located.  I'm surprised by this, but it's been repeated to me 3 times this week, so I'm going to address it asap, not just in a tutorial.  I'm thinking the control pad shows at the start and then fades out after first use, and will make the ninja blink at the start.   Otherwise:   1 - There is an option to zoom in on the settings.  In Beta testing, most users preferred the zoom out rather than the zoom in.  It can be changed to zoom in by going in to the settings.  I'm not sure how to address this except by turning off those that want the full zoom out!   2 - Sound effects are forthcoming.  Working on them as the weeks progress, for example I just had the potion and ammo pick up sounds put in to production this month.  Thank you for pointing these out though, just in case they were an oversight.   3 - To make it more unique, I am adding a multiplayer mode of 2 or 4 players in the coming months.  I'm open to other ideas to make it unique.  This was actually a pet project to test the waters on my main idea for an app, and it was a great learning experience so that I can make this app work out, and make my original and main app a success.  And no, it's not the other app I have in the app store.  Wizard Battles was an app I took over from another developer and it needs a lot of work.  You're welcome to check that out but I just took it over 2 weeks ago and have made minimal improvements to date.  It looked like it had potential, so that's why I took on a third app!   Thanks so much for the feedback - very constructive and helping me improve myself and the game for others.  If there's anything I can ever do to help you out, please just let me know!

    [GAME][FREE][ANDROID] Jumping Ball

Ok, I'll keep cracking at it.  Made it to level 5 in my first go at it.   Yes, the ninja is a little slow, I'm tweaking it a little to make it faster but also it encourages people to upgrade the ninja in the Shop with permanent speed upgrades.  Thanks for checking it out, the feedback and the rating!  Means a lot to me.

    [GAME][FREE][ANDROID] Jumping Ball

Nice job!  It's a pretty challenging game.  The only thing I didn't like was that the jump didn't seem to work as well when you were already moving to the right.  I did like how you could stop and re-evaluate.  Check out my game on Android, Stealthy Ninja - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy and let me know what you think.
  10. I got them from open game art.  Very nice!  I would have gotten them from Unity first, as that's where I was looking.  I'd highly recommend you put them on there, free or even $5 as it's worth it!!  Keep up the great work and I hope you like the game when you test it out.
  11. Hi all, I've developed a new game all by myself called Stealthy Ninja - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy.  It's available on Android for now, with a release coming to iOS soon.  I've based the game on an old PC game from the late 80's called Kroz, if you recall that one.  The game was built using Unity, it's 2d and uses a lot of graphics from their asset store as it's my first go at an app.  Please give it a try and let me know on here or even on the Play Store your constructive thoughts.  I personally find it to be a neat, well built game but I'm looking for constructive feedback to improve it even more.  The first 18 levels and one boss level after 18 are all in the first release.  Future releases will have more levels and a 2-4 player multiplayer mode.  If anyone in turn wants some feedback on their game, please message me and I will also look in here and on announcements to return the favour.  As you'll see in my post history, I've already been doing that as I feel strongly in helping other indie's out.  Thanks in advance.  Cheers, Darryn   Stealthy Ninja - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy   Wizard Battles (not close to being ready, I just bought it from another developer and it needs work so please ignore til late February as it needs a lot of work but has potential)   [attachment=34900:Screenshot_2017-01-04-13-09-50.png]

PIpe Tap - Puzzle Game on iOS and Android

Well, there are a number of these out there, but I thought I'd help out and give yours a try.  I liked it!!  Nice start to it, and offer of the tutorial.  I skipped it, and caught on right away.  I gave it a 4 star, and it's deserved.  All I ask is that you check out my app Stealthy Ninja on Android and let me know your thoughts when you have a chance - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy
  13. Hi I downloaded your app and tried it out.  I would recommend you remove the ad at the start of the game as it drags the start up, especially because you have another pause in loading after the count down of the ad.   I would suggest you have the ads show in the corner of the game as the banners would not be intrusive.  Also, I'd recommend adding a number of moves allowed, but perhaps that comes in later levels.  I gave it a 4 star review, but it's a 3 star at best.  Please check out my app when you can, as I'd also like feedback - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy
  14. Hi - I posted on here previously about my upcoming app and I'd like to thank those that replied as it did help.  Beta testing is long over with a fair number of changes based upon feedback.  It's now on Google Play, soon going to Apple.  If you could download Stealthy Ninja and give me some feedback on your first impressions, etc, it would be much appreciated.  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy will get you to my app download page on your android.  I do have another app on there, but it's one that I just purchased and it needs a lot of work so please just look at this one as the other one is a disaster as it stands!  Just being honest on the other one in case you are surfing around, as it has the right concept but needs a lot of work.  Stealthy Ninja is my own creation from scratch, and for those of you that were playing free games on your PC in the late 80's should recall the game called Kroz.  I had the inspiration to make this game based upon Kroz, but with my own twists.  The app needs some work in the Help area to clean it up, and a tutorial that I will soon have on Youtube with a link.  The basics of the game are working great, I think I have ads and rewards in there properly, and I personally find the game quite fun.[attachment=34892:Install Screenshot.png]   Stealthy Ninja - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=korsour.Stealthy   Thanks for at least giving this a read, if you don't end up downloading the game and giving feedback.  It's my first venture in to indie gaming and I've quite enjoyed it....but I'll need to revisit the costs of my hobby before I continue with too many more!   Cheers, Darryn
