  1.   I love this, as with many crafts it's best to just jump in and learn as you go. I recorded four albums before I started becoming proud of my work

    Dont know where to start

I've had that problem with learning new pro audio interfaces and various programs all my life, sometimes the best thing to do is take a college course or try to learn from an actual person who can explain things in person. Books can be helpful but if they're not working for you it might be best to explore your other options. I tried for months to learn photoshop but never developed skills until I signed up for the graphics program at a tech school. Stay persistent and focused, keep improvising and you'll reach the goal.

Make a Hack n Slash Game with C++ and SDL2

Good idea for a hands on teaching tool. I like the look of the game too..!!

Atari ST or Amiga Game Programming

I love messing with that browser based Commodore emulator, it's really the only thing I've ever done regarding programming. Was a fun way to kill 45 minutes or so http://codeazur.com.br/stuff/fc64_final/

Want to get into game development, what should i do?

You're already off to the right start in my opinion. Dive into the forums and do your homework, then get networking. I got my first gig making the soundtrack for an old IOS game by simply emailing the guy who made it. Be persistent and motivated by your ideas constantly. Sounds like a fun project, l would love to contribute a soundtrack song for something like this, hit me up if you'd like to hear a sample of my work

    Just Starting Out

Welcome! Hope you can make game development a productive creative outlet. I'm new to the scene too, but I'm mostly a concept/idea guy and musician. Don't be a stranger if you want to talk ideas, I'm always game to brainstorm.
