  1. Hello! I've been doing writing of multiple different genres for roughly around thirteen years now, and I've always wanted to get into game development whether as a hobby or otherwise, I'm very passionate about it and eventually hope to learn more than just writing for game development. That said, I'm currently looking to join a team as a writer and maybe pick up a few other skills during the development process if there's time to do so. I can write just about any genre, but I have a particular love for fantasy settings since it allows me to really let loose on creativity when allowed. I also particularly enjoy Rpgs, but I would enjoy writing for any kind of game honestly, I just really want to work on something and pour myself into it. I've rarely ever done anything that required me to explain a story STRICTLY through dialogue, however, so if your game is like that I'd really enjoy testing my mettle with it. I'll explain a little bit more about my experience, with a little bit about myself as well. I mentioned earlier that I had been doing different genres for around thirteen years earlier, I'll explain that a bit. I picked up the pen, or rather keyboard, when I was around ten years old and loved it immediately. I began to hone my ability however I could, writing short stories, essays, etc. Eventually my friends started asking me to write essays for them if they pay me, I was not completely okay with it morally however I was pretty strapped for money most of the time when this started to happen and I wanted to help out around the house so I agreed. I wrote my papers, tailored my writing, to get the grade that they asked for whether the teacher wanted an essay, poem, short story, etc. I won't say I was perfect every time, everyone has off-days after all, but I did get a lot of experience with it and I feel confident in what I can bring to the table as a writer. If you have any questions, concerns, or otherwise for me please feel free to voice them in either a PM or on this post and I'll be happy to answer. If you're interested in putting me on your team, please send me a PM. Oh and if you'd like to have me write a few paragraphs for a topic/genre/style to see if I match what you're looking for, please ask that to me in a PM as well, I'll be happy to respond. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Getting together a team!

An understandable concern. Admittedly of course I've never embarked on an actual project before beyond my game testing, but I do have a good idea of what to expect and I'm not looking to bite off more than I can chew, I'm aware of my limits and whatnot

    Getting together a team!

Not sure if this is snark or not, but I'll answer nonetheless. I'm doing game design and writing, both of which I've had some experience with in one way or another. I've been writing stories and books that have gone over well locally-speaking (never wanted to bother with publishing and whatnot) and I've got about 8-ish years of beta testing. Plus quite a few gaming-related connections if we ever decide to do this as more than just a hobby, one of which has already confirmed with me that we'd get backing if any of our projects do remotely well.
  4. Hiya! This is a follow up post for two other ones I've already put up a while back, I've formed a game development team and all we really need to get started on projects is a 2D animator and a concept artist. This is a hobby project, but if things go well a contact of mine pretty much assured me that we'd be getting backed for future projects. We have a working project already and have gotten started already for the most part, but we can't start streamlining things, advertising, or really getting into anything until we have a 2D animator and a concept artist. If you're one of these, or both, and are looking to join in on some hobby projects, please come join us! We plan to do lots of projects, and are hoping to fulfill all of our game creation dreams over time. All I ask is that you send me a private message. For 2D Animators please let me know what programs you're familiar with, how long you been doing it, and whether or not you'd like to work on a game idea of your own in the future. For Concept artist we'd like someone who draws digitally mainly, and knows how to draw what's described to them and/or is willing to edit the picture until it's right. Same with 2d Animator, let me know if you have any game ideas you'd like to work on in the future too. No need to tell me details, because we hope to fulfill them at some point no matter what.

    Getting together a team!

Please send me a message and tell me specifically what kind of programming you do and the rest of the stuff I listed, thanks^^
  6. Hiya! I had a post earlier in the week to form a team and it's mostly good to go, we've even got a couple of projects planned. However we still need a Concept artist and a 2D animator, I'd like another programmer and a 3D animator who can Rig/Texture as well, but right seeing as our first project is 2D we definitely need an artist and an animator for those right now. As soon as we have those positions filled on the team we can get started on our first project, so please don't hesitate to send me a message and let me know if you're interested! If you need any additional details, have any questions, or need clarification on anything please send me a message for those things too!

    Getting together a team!

It is not paid, it is for fun, although if the team is satisfied enough with the game we might put it on steam or something along those lines for a small price-tag and make a small amount off that to put towards a future project. Currently I have One 3D Animator, and a Level designer. I myself am writing and doing game design. If you wish to discuss this further, please send me a message with the details I mentioned^^.

    Getting together a team!

Hiya! I'm getting together a team to pursue game creation, we'll do both 2D and 3D games, more than likely a multitude of different genres of games, and hopefully have a great time doing it. I don't require you have much experience, just enough that you think you can fill the position you're contacting me about. I have plenty of ideas for games that I'd love your help with, and am completely open to fulfilling your game ideas as well if you have any you've wanted to do. The positions I'm looking to fill are as follows: 2D Animator 3D Animator Concept Artist Level Designer Sound Designer Programmer Producer Writer Edit: For concept art at least, I would like an example of what you're capable of so I know what to expect. If you don't fall under any of these categories listed, but still think you might be able to help, don't be afraid to send a message describing what it is you could help with that I might have left out. If you're inquiring about any position, or a non-listed one, just include in a message to me whether you've had experience on a team before, what position you're looking to be on the team, and whether or not you have any ideas for games that you might want to pursue (You do not need to tell the idea, just whether you have one.) I want to get a team together to make games that are fun, and have a bit of fun while making them too, if this sounds like something you want to be apart of please do not hesitate to message me.
