  1. Hey guys and gals. Hobbyist looking for a new project to join. Numbers are mundane, right? Do you immediately start dozing off when you hear the word "econo..zzzzz"`? Well, I'm different! 😛 I'm a big fan of almost anything related to economics and finance. It's not my bread and butter job however I have been involved in several areas of the financial industry within the past several years and I still very much consider investing and financial analysis to be my secondary job and I do spend several hours on it every week. I'm also obviously interested in gaming and I have been part of several projects over the past decade or so. Small scale stuff, trying different things etc. But I have to be honest and say that I've never designed an in-game economy from scratch. But I would sure love to take up the challenge and to learn new things along the way. So if there is game designer and/or a team out there who would like a hand with the economy aspect then get in touch. Ideally I would love to join a project that is already on-going but I'm open for all suggestions. Obviously I'm aiming for a game design with quite a lot of economy in it but once again, just hit me up and let's see what we can figure out. 2. Hello everyone. We are a team working on a 3rd person turn-based tactical action game, very much in the image of our beloved Jagged Alliance and Wasteland series. It's set in the 1990's in a real world scenario, with semi-realistic gameplay that would force the player to think strategically and use his units strenghts in order to survive, we do not want to create yet another game where the only way forward is to shoot at everything that moves. We are in the early phases of developement, using Unreal engine. Currently we are looking for a couple additions to our team. -1-2 programmers to help our existing one in creating all the features we want. Any skill level is welcome. -A lead artist. To help coordinate the art side of things (currently 3 people) and help out where necessary. Again, I'd be interested in hearing from any skill level but some experience in game developement is desireable. Please send me a message if you're interested so we can discuss the details of our project.
  3. Hello everyone. We are looking for a couple of individuals to join our newly formed team. The plan is simply to create a basic 3d game together as a learning experience, if the game ever becomes anything more then that's an amazing thing but for the moment the idea is to learn new things and have fun while doing it. I'm not going to lie to you, we are far from being professional game developers but we are interested in seeing what we can accomplish. It's not only about the skills you have, we want to find people who are laid back but still serious, willing to learn and most of all: fun to work with! About the project: Currently we have an initial design document for a 3d, 3rd person turn-based action game with some RPG elements. We can chat about the details, of course we have a more detailed plan in place but for me it's important that those who join the project at the start get a real say in what the project will look like. We are all doing this for fun, so it's important that you get to decide what the game will be like. Unreal engine - hacknplan for management - discord for comms. The plan is not to recruit for every single possible position right now, but rather to first build a core group of guys and get the project going. Who we are looking for right now: Artists: I'd love to bump into someone who has the ambition and skills to take the role of lead artist. But that's not mandatory, I'd also love to hear from people who are interested in doing 3d models and/or concept art. Writer: Get in touch and we can talk about the details. Coder: We already have a korean ninja here but more talent is welcome. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please send me a private message with a few details about yourself and your previous experience. Let's have a chat and see if we can create something wonderful.
