Hey thanks for checking it out. As far as quantizing, I did not. I usually leave stuff like that off on purpose. Maybe I over did it haha. The bass is a little loud. It's a bad habit I've picked up. As far as the bass choice and dynamics, I've never thought of it like that it's a good point. I can't remember what I used I'll have to go back and see. I really do appreciate all the insight it makes my learning curve a little easier haha.

    Swashbuckler Showdown

Take this with a grain of salt because I'm not very knowledgeable of orchestral styles yet... At 19 sec. it sounds like there is a good opportunity for a big crescendo. Also at 49 sec. there's a part that repeats itself. Maybe the first part could be softer and then the second much louder. It's just something I've heard before in movie score tracks. I'm just going off of how I feel as a listener. Like it was said before though, it sounds good.

Thanks for listening! Yea I could hear that now especially at the tail end of some notes. Good idea I'll remember that.
  4. Check the sticky here its a ten year old thread but still seems relevant. I'm late but these vlogs are a great idea!

Wow thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely keep this in mind for the future. I actually wasn't familiar with the Katamari franchise. I'll have to check it out.

Now that you say it, it all makes more sense especially with dynamics and stuff. Thanks for the great insight as usual.

What's up everybody. The last time I posted here I got some very valuable feedback on a track. I also said I would come back when I had made something significantly better. This is it. Im still new to this (less than a year) and appreciate any listens or comments. Peace

Thanks for the input. When I've made something significantly better, I'll share again.

Oh ok thanks makes sense now. I'm glad I asked. That would have went over my head.

Thank you very much for your insight! Its funny how the minute you mentioned some things (attack time, muddiness, etc.) it makes more sense in my head haha. I do have one question though. What do you mean by, "double or triple tag at the end instead of just one?" Thin sounds are something I've been struggling with and I want to make sure I understand what you're saying.

What's up everybody. I'm still very much in the early learning phases of game composition and would greatly appreciate feedback on the composition, mix, master, quality, etc. Even just a listeners standpoint will help. I imagined a fighting game with a casino like backdrop when making this. Peace

    Kannagara OSTs; feedback wanted!

I'm still learning as a composer as well but want to try and help. I like that you are showing different styles with each composition. Versatility can go a long way. However, I feel like the main melodies are repetitive in all three songs. Even if you just switch up the instruments used I think it would help and add some variation. The first one is the best imo because it has more dynamics.
