The Battlefield V "Historical Accuracy" Controversy

Yes but it's my opinion that the others did so well only because of branding, when they didn't live up to expectations the films following would naturally start to decline. Still I believe that the market will correct these things, you can't make everyone happy although I personally believe it's better to keep the ip loyal to it's fanbase as you can always create something new targeting a new audience instead of trying to combine those when they're not all compatible.

I say let free market handle all of this as it always has, if the game or movie goes to far it'll fail like the new star wars movies.

I'm gonna have to agree with Gian. I watched one of the newer James Bond movies, it was dreadful, it had none of the charm from the originals instead was just another spy kids all grown up imitation and I've not seen another because I feel for me they'd only take away from the subjectively better ones with Sean Connery.

I'm no expert on British history but from my understanding she's shown in the game as a British solder and that it was against the law for women in the British army to be on the front lines.

It's important to be careful not to appear as pandering to small groups of sjw's or you risk upsetting a larger amount of your fan base, it's also good to keep in mind that inclusion doesn't always fit the game. If you want to see what those gamers are afraid of just look at the current American comic book industry.

The Battlefield V "Historical Accuracy" Controversy

I completely agree with you. Personally I believe that many gamers have the opinion that the gaming industry is being destroyed by toxic sjw and pc culture, even had some people I personally know tell me that they're all for having minorities in games even as main characters but that if they feel it's forced to meet a quota or trying to push an ideology on them that they wouldn't even play the game if it was offered to them for free.
