  1. Hey there, thanks for taking a peek. Our team has need of a UI programmer to assist in the development of a turn-base ww2 strategy wargame. Enjoy flexibility in contributing just a few hours each week only on tasks that suit your skill-set. Team members are available to help with any assets you need as you put together our UI needs. Proficient in C# and Unity are required, and some prior knowledge in using gitlab/github is helpful but not necessary. Our team currently consists of 4 programmers, 2 artists and a sound engineer. We hold weekly meetings and track tasks through the clickup.com site. If you're interested in a solid side project, contact me on discord at Atheory#0528 where we can discuss the project in more detail. Thanks again Josh (Atheory#0528)
  2. Project has a slot open for a seasoned programmer with organizational skills to take lead of a programming team. In this role you would help set the programming direction by working with the Project Lead to help facilitate the completion of assigned tasks to other team members. The project is a Turn-base WW2 strategic and operational wargame using a WEGO system and complex combat computations. We've been in development since November, and continually work towards a crowdsourcing campaign to help our push towards an official launch time in 2020. Requirements Familiarity with Gitlab Familiarity with Unity High C# language proficiency Experience with back-end development Not currently in school Terms regarding your level of commitment are negotiated prior to starting. Given the project is profit-share based, we understand flexibility is cornerstone to advancing forward. We are only asking for a small level of commitment in hours each week, thus making this an ideal side project for most. Any terms are finalized under contract as a freelance contractor with a legal entity. This is a profit-share endeavor. You would be joining an established team with varying skill-sets to include other programmers, artists and a sound engineer. A detailed project brief is available for interested candidates, as well as an elaborate GDD to build off of. This is an ambitious and challenging project, perfect for those who enjoy seeing the larger picture and seek innovative solutions. Interested parties should contact me on discord at Atheory#0528 to begin discussions. I thank you for your time and consideration Josh Project Owner / Game Designer

  4. A project currently underway seeks artists to contribute in bringing it to life. We are building a strategic and operational level turn-base wargame and need some art in the following areas: 3D Modelers Textures for UI and Map Terrain Graphic Design ( a little for crowdsource campaign efforts) General Art for specific events in game. If there is an area above you feel you can contribute in, lets discuss more on discord (Atheory#0528) Thanks for your time and consideration Josh

  6. Building a team for the development of strategic and operational war games. Any good vision requires the sight to see beyond what's in front of you. Whether you're a fan of the genre, or just looking to fill out that resume a little, this could be the project for you. So, why volunteer your time to this project over any other? Firstly, the vision is robust in guiding the approach to developing the game. As I am the dedicated game designer, you will not be asked to research and design parts of the game, allowing you to focus on your skill-sets. The current GDD is over 20 pages, while that in itself is not an accomplishment, it goes to show that thought and even some refinement has gone into the project already. Secondly, there is a working plan beyond just the game's development. Groundwork is being laid for future marketing, crowdsourcing campaigns and a commercial business model. With business experience in my background already, my approach here is based on a solid foundation. Thirdly, I value your time as I do my own. Volunteer however many hours a week you want. While the positions are unpaid at present, I am looking at kickbacks after a successful crowdsourcing campaign, in addition to the profit-share options. The short-term plan is to develop the game as much as possible over the next three months, splice together a demo video and launch a crowdsourcing campaign. If you're able to commit for three months, by the end we will have a better picture of the game's viability. After which, you can assess for yourself whether to continue with the project or move on. Current progress, while still bare-bones, has two programmers onboard in a part-time capacity coding various mechanics. I myself am here in a full-time capacity. We are looking for a host of skill-sets, from C# programming to 2D designers, UI, AI and multiplayer networking. Take some time to consider, and feel free to explore this more. I am more than happy to sit and discuss the project, and answer any questions you have. Thank you for your time J Johnson
  7. Hello, This project is an ambitious ww2 turn-base strategy and operational wargame. Four months have been poured into the GDD and some coding has begun in earnest. Currently three of us are putting our free time into the project and we'd like to invite others to help contribute. Additional C# programmers and UI designers are particularly desired, however, we're also looking for assistance in AI development, networking for multiplayer play and 2D artwork. Contribute as many hours as you're willing.Game design is not set in stone, so new creative ideas around the direction of the game's development is welcomed. With that said, the GDD is extensive and a clear direction is in place. Gaming familiarity in the genre is preferred but not required. We are using unity to develop the game in. Additional contributions can also be made in areas of research, database collection and scenario design. I am happy to discuss the project more, in addition to our future plans with it. Shoot me a PM, or contact me on discord @ Atheory#0528 Thanks for your time and consideration Atheory (aka J)
