  1. Hello, Using linux, where do I need to extract the libpcap directory? I've tried extracting it to /usr/share/doc and /lib/, but it still doesn't work when I try to compile... Anyone know what do do, this is getting really frusterating. Thanks

I don't think there is anything wrong about making a film about flight 93, what I think is wrong is that many people will go out to see this movie the same way they went out to see titanic, for friday-night entertainment. Once this movie comes out for TV, intersperced with commercials every 20 minutes, i think ill probably kill myself.

  6. Hi guys, I got DSL up and running off LiveCD, but it wont install to the HDD... Whenever i try to create a Linux partition with sfdisk it crashes....
  7. [update 4] OK. So I did a full re-install of the Slackware and made a boot disk. It loads up, except I did one stupid mistake... I didnt specify a user name and password! When i try to run the setup utility and select configure (to see if I can create one there), nothing happens... it just takes me back to the setup menu. How can I specify a username and pass?!   9. Hello, I have a question for all of the coldfusion users out there: How do I set up a mysql datasource in the coldfusion administrator? More specifically, what do i put for Database, Server, Username, and Password, and Port? I'm running it through localhost. I've tried putting in my own IP in the Server text box but that doesnt work... any help would be great. Thanks
  10. thanks, I also have another question though. For those of you who use ColdFusion: How do i add a myaql datasource in the coldfusion administrator? What is the difference between the database name and the datasource name? I assume i just put my IP address in the "server" textbox (since i'm running it through localhost). Thanks
  11. Hello, I just got mysql and have been fooling around with it for a while trying to figure it out. I couldn't figure out how modify the columns themselves (for example, how do you delete a table, remove/add a data-column, etc... ?). I couldn't find any information pertaining to this in the reference manual.. Any help would be great... thanks

  13. Hello, I'm writing a class in Java called VERTEX4D and I want it to be as similiar to a c-style struct as possible. I want the data for the vertex to be held in two ways: the first as x , y , z , w coordinates and the other in an array with four elements. However, I want to do this as simply as possible, and dont want to have to write several methods constantly setting the data equal to each other. I want x, for example, to be: COORDS4D [ 0 ] = &x , using C-style pointers, so when accessing this class both *COORDS4D [ 0 ] and x always equal the same thing. Obviously, the * and & operators do not exist in java, so I'm at a loss of what to do. Any help would be great, thanks.
