  1. I have a problem. I'm making an isometric game and everything about rendering is working perfectly. Currently I only have two layers, the ground layer and the obstacle layer. Tiles have no height at all. My problem is the following: I want to have a character walking my map smoothly (e.g. he is lerp:ing between two different tiles as he walks). However, depending on which rendering algorithm I use, the character will be covered by one-half of the tile that he's "tweening into". I've been thinking about it for a while and can't find a solution. Anyone got any idea? I've tried looking at the tutorials on gamedev but I didn't fidn anything that dealt with tweening sprites on a Iso tilemap.
