    A simple c program dealing with characters!

    Hello Everyone! Opps!, Sorry about that I guess I have a lot to learn about posting in these forums! #include <stdio.h> #define MAXLINE 1000 // maximum input line size int getline(char line[], int maxline); void copy(char to[], char from[]); int reverse(char to[], int i); // print longest input line main() { int len; // current line length int max; // maximum length seen so far char line[MAXLINE]; // current input line char longest[MAXLINE]; // longest line saved here max = 0; while((len = getline(line, MAXLINE)) > 0) { if (len > max) { max = len; copy(longest, line); } if (max > 0) // there was a line printf("\n\n%s\n\n",longest); } return 0; } // getline: read a line into s, return length int getline(char s[], int lim) { int c, i; for (i = 0; i < lim-1 && (c = getchar()) != EOF && c != '\n'; ++i) s = c; if (c == '\n') { s = c; ++i; } s = '\0'; return i; } // copy: copy 'from' into 'to'; assume 'to' is big enough void copy(char to[], char from[]) { int i; i = 0; while ((to = from) != '\0') ++i; reverse(to, i); } int reverse(char to[],int i) { while(i >= 0) { printf("%c",to); --i; } } Thanks!

    Free shareware role playing game?

    Hello Everyone! I wanted to know if there is a game which is a role playing game which is shareware, that comes with complete source code? and at the same time it is free online play? I heard something about Guild Wars being free play online game from someone, but it doesn't come with source code? I know absolutely nothing about role-playing games, or at least I'm not an expert. Can someone please correct me on role-playing games? Thanks!
  9. Hello everyone! I wrote this program a few weeks or months ago. Then I rewrote again in a different way but I can to see it doesn't do what I wanted to be done: #include <stdio.h> // write a program to copy its input to its output, replacing each string of // one or more blanks by a single blank. main() { int c, n; n = 0; while ((c = getchar()) != EOF) { if(c != ' ') putchar(c); if(c == ' ') { n++; putchar(c); } if(n > 1) if(n == c) n = 0; else ; } system("pause"); return 0; } Thanks! 10. Hello Everyone! I wanted to know, in your own opinion is it possible to use computerize program, 3d program such as 3dsmax, to come to such results as to the stop motion median? I hear that stop motion animation it takes time but, I was always wondering how can we come out with the same quality results from a movie cinematic, for example: "The Corpse Bride"? By the way have you guys seen the movie? What did you think about it? Thanks! Julio A. Cruz

    Serious Sam 2, serious problem!

    Hello everyone! I've downloaded the demo of "Serious Sam 2" recently, and for some reason the game it's just giving me a pop-up window error message saying: "Fatal error: Cannot set display mode! GfxAPI error: (Direct3D)Missing support for vertex shaders." it's not even leating me into the game. The game doesn't run whatsoever, and I want to know if I need to update my graphics card driver or my directx driver, opengl driver or do I have to buy a new graphics card? This is my system requirement that my machine has: AMD Duron(tm) processor 1.35 GHz 256 MB of RAM Display: Philips 107S(107S2) on NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 Can anyone help me please! I really want to play this game! Thanks!
