Thanks for the replies! Ok, that's normal :) I'll (try to) leave them there... And what about that ""msiexec /regserver"? ( i don't care about "msiexec", that's a program, i care about the "/regserver" part )

    Some things on XP

Hi again.. I have a question. I don't understand what the "All users" in "Documents and Settings" is for. ? And in "Documents and Settings\myname\Application data" there are some data about applications i installed. What's their purpose, i shouldn't delete anything right? Also, if you "run" with this command: "msiexec /regserver", what does that "/regserver" do? Thanks and sorry if my questions sound dumb :(

You say that because you take my family as different persons. But we are a whole, just like one individual. And that guy did give his money, what else do they need?

Yes! This time i got it right! I reinstalled the OS and this time it installed the windows installer just fine! I don't know why it couldn't copy it the first time i installed the OS, but this time it was ok :). Thanks for all your help! Also, i found the drivers of my motherboard in my house, and now my audio card works just fine :) Right now i am downloading the drivers for my printer. Also, ok, my CD is burned, but it was a innocent burn, between the members of my family ( same blood ). We gave the money. Nothing nasty... Thanks for your help guys :)

But how much money should someone spend to get windows XP working? There should be a way to install it...

    Windows XP

It still can not be accessed. The setup didn't copy this program to my hard disk. What else can i do? If i reinstall the OS, i know it won't copy it again, and i will lose everything that i have already installed. Any other ideas?

right now in my services windows installer is started and automatic. when i try to install something, it opens and says "Preparing installer..." and stays there, and somethimes it says that windows is low in memmory and will get more virtual memory and might not accept requests for memory. What should i do now?

But the new key does not appear in the right pane of the Registry Editor window. It is created as a subfolder of MSIServer, and it's on the left side. Is that what you mean? thanks
