  1. Anonymous poster, thanks for your input, we have agreed to work on that. About scripting , we are currently discussing if we need to implement it. the new list of features is : 1) import a model ( 3d5 , lwo ,.... ) 2) removing of null faces 3) removing dead vertices ( non indexed ) 4) removing redundant vertices 5) computing bounding box and bounding sphere 6) computing convex hull , volume and surface area 7) decompose the model into its builindg parts ( graph walking or native division ) 8) stripping the model 9) computing index buffer for vbo ( this might sound trivial but many models comes with different number of texture indicies and vertices ) 10) reorder the model to take advantage of the vertex cache 11) level of detail 12) normal mapping 13) vertex connectivity 14) surface connectivity 15) computing normals 16) uv texturing 17) inverse kinematics
  2. HI, we are about to produce a game engine tool for models this tool will enable the programmer to : 1) import a model ( 3d5 , lwo ,.... ) 2) removing of null faces 3) removing dead vertices ( non indexed ) 4) removing redundant vertices 5) computing bounding box and bounding sphere 6) computing convex hull , volume and surface area 7) decompose the model into its builindg parts ( graph walking or native division ) 8) stripping the model 9) computing index buffer for vbo ( this might sound trivial but many models comes with different number of texture indicies and vertices ) 10) reorder the model to take advantage of the vertex cache 11) level of detail 12) normal mapping what should we add , what is your wishing list for a game model engine library?

    Easy to use win32 library

Having dealt with mfc since long time, now , i can express what my feelings are about your projects, i have done a lot of tool application running under mfc for our company , at the beginning it was a nightmare, mfc and windows programming is another planet from 'normal' c/c++ coding . If you are willing to spend time learning mfc, in the long run you will realize that it was time well spent. The drawback is that you will spend most of your time working on mfc controls rather than on your map editor. Mfc takes time , its learning curve is steep to say at least. I wouldn't look into third party libraries , becasue they have a layer of complexity just like mfc, so why are you settling for a similar look and feel application when you can have the real deal under windows ? just my 2 cents
  4. GlGamingLanguage ( Gl^2 ) is a language for creating games, basically it is a metalanguage, you can create your own syntax for example: player 1 wait for me at location (3,3 ) , then i cover you until location (5,6 ) the engine and tools are right now being developed i just finished the model importer / optimizer
  5. Beware , GlGameLanguage is arriving.....
  6. because the title engeneer is obtained ( at least in italy ) after 5 years of univeristy and after 1 state exam to be enabled to work as a professional. Claiming to be an engeneer without having a degree is against law. In italy this is called 'millantato credito' i think you can freely translate with ' fake credentials' 5-10 years of prison.
  7. Arex, i suggest you to change your qualification from 'software system engeneer ' to software techinician ( spelling??? ) in fact, in many countries this could lead you to legal problems, you stated that you don't have a degree ,and you are considering yourself an engeneer , usually in italy you have to take 5 years of course , you 've been hired by nvidia nad suddenly you get the qualification, this is illegal ,and it is unethical towards real graduates.
  8. Academics love intricate syntax , most of them are pedant with syntax, and don't care about your problem solving capabilities, in the real world , everything is the contrary.
  9. Who is offering ??? Is there someone who can get a free edition of Visual Studio Standard , and then send to me ( i will take care of anything involved with money ) I live in Italy and i am not entitled to get a free copy. Who can help me ?
  10. Hi, i got a friend who needs a simple rendering for a device, he can't pay, but is willing to give credit to the guy who will draw the rendering the device is very simple and it can be completed in half an hour for an experienced graphic user. Thanks in advance to whom replies.
  11. Assuming you already did your messaging system, i would go for the second option, using a priority queue. cheers
  12. Hi, i am an old visual studio programmer, since the 2003 edition. Now i want to upgrade to the 2005 version, i would like to ask how many of you use it , since i can't buy the pro version , because of its cost , i was tempted to go for the standard , i now that the express edition is free to download, but it lacks of most of the tools . Is the standard edition good as much as the 2003 or do i need to go for the pro version? Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

    EE-k! Will this work?

Sorry but are those 2 compoents actually bjt ? in that case your circuit is not working not only because of the resistor, but because the collectors are incorrectly wired. draw your circuit bigger , mark all voltages and currents , and study where the current flows.

Can someone explain what the hell are you talking about ?

I don't remember which kind of trojan but nod32 alert me as soon as i download your zip file, i have simply followed the link you posted in your very first post, i don't want to reload because i have to cancel the offedning files, after a whole and lenghty scan. Maybe it the server where the file is hosted that is infected. I have read your signature , are you italian ? i am italian too.
