  2. I just did a simple test. I closed the program, and start a debug version of the same program. The display still the same, with 120+ fps but elapsed time 0.015625s. Now this confirms that the problem is not 'internal', since on closing the long running game and start another game (debug version of it), problem still persists. It must have something to do with CPU or GPU throttling, or some other weird stuff. It's 0 & 0.015625 alternate, no wonder i see 0.015625 constant as elpased time display but fps is 120+. Anyone has any clue as to what is happening here?

    Solving linker errors

    Have u by any chance, didnot compile the config.cpp or didnot include it in the project?
  5. just realized ankhsvn is a subversion client as well :( so u need any help on server?
  6. subVersion (the server) and the tortiseSVN (the client) is very good. Though it's not integrated with VS2005, but interface is quite simple.

    hi, Allan, Thanks for the detailed explanation, that confirms at least im not doing something odd. For my part, i plan to write an application to setup a small database and output xml files. The different version of strings will be kept using the string identifier as key in database and tag in xml. My game would then read in the xml and put different strings to different structures.

    hi, ernow, Thanks for the reply. I'm using unmanaged C++ with directx9, the IDE is .net2003. Too bad im not using any .net codes, (just pure C++ with STL), so i think the satelite thingy is not for me.
