    SDL_Flip()

    the reason is that your using doublebuf, where the second buffer is empty. so when your flipping its flipping both and your seeing that second empty buffer. take it off and you should eliminate that flicker

    i did an attack class and i just did #define playerleft 1 #define playerright 2 #define playerup 3 #define playerdown 4 then like if(Player.Status == playerleft) { rocket.x += xVel; } else if(Player.Status == playerright) { rocket.x -= xVel; }

    well i was mainly looking for somthing to do Username and Password and since sdl has no gui... its kinda hard... i never thouhg tabout just doing a simple thing but getting a blinker and stuff... it would be kinda hard.. but ide love to start working on a project like this...

    well the add background actually takes a filename to load... the only thing i can possibly think of is to make an image and add the image to the thing.

    Thank you for the response although you mis interpreted my question. SDL Console is a Quake-Like Console Screen for input... the color of it is black and my actual window is a picture of black.. so the text is hard to see.
  9. I wanted to know if there was a way to change the background color and or the font color other then changing it using addbackground picture... i wanted to change the actual color from like black to grey.. Thanks for the Help Guys

    i fixed it with including windows, then doing int WINAPI WinMain( HINSTANCE hInstance, // Instance HINSTANCE hPrevInstance, // Previous Instance LPSTR lpCmdLine, // Command Line Parameters int nCmdShow) but... i figured out why! code::blocks i clicked the open gl template when really i needed the sdl template.. but what are the linker settings for opengl?

    well if you wanna transfer it you just give the one a copy then so SDL_FreeSurface(surface); it will delete the memory for the old one. not sur about the other part sorry

    When i Try to Compile im getting this.. C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks\lib/libmingw32.a(main.o):main.c:(.text+0x106): undefined reference to `WinMain@16' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Process terminated with status 1 (0 minutes, 0 seconds) 0 errors, 0 warnings i dont understand whats wrong? its sdl with open gl so i dunno any suggestions?
