  1. I work for a Video Fruit Machine Company. I perform "Autoruns" which verify that a game does pay out what it should over the course of 2Million+ games.   While not running google chrome at the same time as my autorun program I get about 1000 games every ten seconds.   While running google chrome at the same time I get 1000+ games every second!   That is a tenfold (approx) increase in speed.... What is going on?   It's not a problem as such, just my curiosity needs satisfying.....:)

  3. passing an array to a fucntion

  5. passing an array to a fucntion

    No need to get shirty mate just trying to help. I thought this was a begginners Game Dev forum, for people who know basic programming, not a "Hello World" stage forum.
  6. passing an array to a fucntion

    It surprises me that you have made an entire game, but cannot pass an array.
  7. passing an array to a fucntion

    What is it you are actually trying to do?
  8. passing an array to a fucntion

    Show me the code.
  9. passing an array to a fucntion

    Sorry I was writing 30 bytes but reading 35 back in!! Corrected Code:- ************WRITE CODE******************** FILE f = fopen("file.dat","wb"); BYTE data[30]; // Fill array with data FILE *f = fopen(file,"wb"); fwrite(data,sizeof(data),1,f); fclose(f); **************READ CODE******************** FILE f = fopen("file.dat","rb"); BYTE data[30]; // Your empty data array fread(data,sizeof(data),1,f);
  10. passing an array to a fucntion

    You should probably be using the binary method to read/write values from/to a file. Especially if it's numerical values you are working with. ************WRITE CODE******************** FILE f = fopen("file.dat","wb"); BYTE data[30]; // Fill array with data FILE *f = fopen(file,"wb"); fwrite(data,sizeof(data),1,f); fclose(f); **************READ CODE******************** FILE f = fopen("file.dat","rb"); BYTE data[35]; // Your empty data array fread(data,sizeof(data),1,f);
