    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ANY1!!!!!!!!!

    Can i use system("example.exe"); to execute the selected file? the command is write from the C language...but i found out that In the Opengl void Rendering, the set return TRUE keep calling the exe repeatly...any idea to stop or break? Example: GLvoid DrawGLScene(){ Switch(mode){ case 1:mainmenu(); break; case 2:system("example.exe"); break; case 3: ..... } return TRUE; } my code is something like above...got included break;, but after that i choose for running of case 2, it non stop calling the exe...
  2. URGENT! does any1 know how to link opengl with an external exe file? Means, i create an 3D hall, before enter to this hall i got an user interface, just a simply, but i want a code for when user click the "link", then inside my code is call the exe file. Example: 3D tour Guide Enrolment Process Manual Exit 3D tour guide, manual and exit created by opengl, but enrolment process is created by VB, so can i link to the exe file? any 1 pls help.. i need the Code!

I need some help about collision detection, I was doing a project about 3D world walk through with First Person View, but i cannot find any sample of the collision coding, and i cannot understand what the nehe tutorial taugh, pls some1 help!!! p/s: Run & Jump through a large 3D world featuring ramps, stairs, gaps and a moving hand made model, collision detection for plane collisions and box collisions GOt Anyone have the sample coding? example coding? simple is the best

    collision detection

    Oops! I was using OpenGL to develop my project, so i through i ask in the correct place.Ok, about OpengL, i'm just a newbie, about collision detection, i didn't know neither one of it, just know that is a lot of collision detection algorithm out of that.And i haven't understand what is vector actually [embarrass], to calculate the plane? or collision detection?     Collision Detection

    Thanks for nathan, I want plane collisions and box collisions, since i'm doing a 3D world walk through, i create a hall include walls, stages, stairs, tables, chairs and computer. and the example of bounding sphere collisions i read before, but that is for 2D right? anyone can help? My first problem is how to calculate...or how to know the Camera (Player) position? when find out the camera position, then how to know the camera collide with the table that i create. I trying to use Function to create my table, e.g: GLvoid createTable(x,y,z,scalex,scaley,scalez), so inside my function need to include calboundingbox?

    O yea Darren, do u have any website or references on how to code an bulding block for OpenGL? and 1 thing im might considering, as u say use pure code will very time-consuming, so how about i use the texture mapping techniques to build it? is that more easier? and any suggestion that i can learn more faster in OpenGL? (within my scope) becoz it i learn the Nehe tutorial lesson i dun think that is enough information for me...and Thanks again~~~ :)
