im tryin to make a plugin for winamp in visual basic, and according to the winamp main site it says anything from c++ to vb to delphi can be used to make winamp plugins, but it seems that all winamp lets u use for plugins is DLLs... how am i supposed to code in visual basic and everything and make it all into a dll.. or is there another way im not sure of, because i sure as hell dont see an option to load an EXE plugin in winamp.. any help would be nice! edit: since i never get ANY RESPOSNES TO MY POSTS EVER, ive changed the thread topic. maybe now someone will look for ONCE. and no, this is not an isolated time. every single thread ive ever made has never been answered so i end up deleting them in a few days. thanks everyone. no responses: not true.

changing title: you should've kept it as it was. "help help help" is about the worst title you could've come up with.

your question: a quick look through vb project options reveals that it doesn't seem to be able to make non-activex dlls. presumably because it can't export stuff from modules? but don't trust me, i've only done "hello world" type stuff in vb.

and no responses doesn't mean nobody's reading your post. people may not know the answer, or they may not want to point out an obvious answer that they aren't too sure about.

(answering despite the silly+counterproductive title)

What kind of plugin? You can customize&control Winamp a good bit with Windows messages alone (from an external app).
