Where can I find source code for some of these popular games? I''m not really interested in modding, I just wanna see how they are programmed.

There are a few zips hidden away in a dark corner here at GameDev that nobody seems to know about. Of interest are Sin, Heretic/Hexen, Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake 1 plus maybe one or two others. You can get some stuff from id''s site too (Quake 2). I can''t think of any other FPS code that''s been released, though there are bound to be some more.

On this site! Go to Articles and Resources, then programming, then source code. IF you can''t find it there, search! Use google. Also try going to the game website or asking the company.
