Best storyline? Tough question.
After thinking to it, i really loved that old adventure game, based on Lovecraft''s universe, called "Prisoner Of Ice". I''m generally not much into horror-based stories, but it was really good.

i think Planescape: Torment had the best story line in any game i ever played, but Baldur''s Gate storylines were good too

Just to clarify, the only reason I posted this topic, and with such little description was because of the other post that started ''Worst storyline ever''.
And yes, I would have to agree that those games did have some damn good plots (I especially like Fallout, although I didnt get that far into it)

The best storyline would be Clark Kent and Chloe becomes lovers. I like Chloe more than Lana Lang.
