Is GAPI viable?
I''ve just begun pocket pc development, and I of course ran into GAPI. I like GAPI pretty well, it seems quick and simple.
Is GAPI what the professional pocket pc game dev people use? I''ve read the SDL also works on ppc, but SDL seems to be a bit too bloated to use on a platform where memory is critical.
Should I focus on GAPI?
Yes, GAPI is the standard for games on PocketPC since it''s the only way to get direct access to the display memory. Many people use various wrappers such as GapiDraw (watch out, 2.04 is the last free version of it) and PocketFrog.
