Clipping in OGL

Well, OGL supports 3d clipping that´s fine but i have one problem: If my polygon goes out of sceen OGL adds vetices and draw that polygon by using a triangulation algorithm. I have enabled gouared shading and the rendered scene looks fine but when the polygon leaves or enters the scene OGL does not calculates the new vertex color right. Did I forget a flag or does my Voodoo III not suport linear interpolation under OGL? I tried out in glide with my own clipping function (also 3d clipping) and there it works w/o problems. Where is the mistake?? Thaks for help!

I had the same problem with my old Voodoo Banshee. Now I have a TNT M64 and that problem has disappeared.

If I am enabling texture mappping all works fine. Are that the OGL Drivers from 3dfx?
