Landfish, i started to hate you when you included "everyone" in your post on how we''re ALL losers and we''ve ALL been in the fetal position when in a fight. And when i said that was BS, and whatnot, all your little groupies started attacking me like i was against you and like i was anyother person who hated you for no reason. I HATE to be included in things of which i am no part when i have NOTHING to do with that group, or very little even. I don''t even like the fact that you would assume EVERYONE is that way! Even if I was, i would be mad at you for those who wouldn''t be willing to speak up about it! And you STILL haven''t appologised for that!
And as i''ve stated.. you''ve always said what''s wrong with something without every saying what is right in any way. That''s why i left in the first place. you started a war! There were those against you and those for you. The ones for you would blast those against you in the same mannor which they blasted you. I mean, look at this post.. you call for anyone with real "beef" to speak up.. and then you have jhky speaking up like he''s the boss or something telling us what to do with our business! That''s a moderator''s job, don''t try to do it unless you ARE the moderator.. cause they''re the only one with right to pass judgement like that here! I''m sure you can agree on that, Landfish. And then we''ve got.. Dwarfsoft, one of your groupies, using not-nice language and trying to process what happened.. even though it didn''t warrent a post. I mean, come on Dwarf.. how does that pertain to the discussion in ANY way? Sounds more like he''s asking for help to me.. shouldn''t that be on the Help wanted board?

First off, dwarf.. you got in the middle of a catfight.. your own fault for doing so

Secondly, jhky, so if i''m on staff at.. say.. microsoft, i have the ability to go in and moderate their webboards, even if my job is to clean the toilets? I said you''re acting like the "boss" because you had that staff thing next to your name. Being on staff doesn''t mean you''re a moderator, and it doesn''t mean you have power to do anything at all. Just making a point of your stupidity and lack of reason in a landfishian way to prove a point.

As for you, fish, i see one person speaking up for you.. and a few others suggesting you once had a good idea or two. I don''t in any way see how that means you''ve actually done some good ideas.. anywhere. It''s clear to anyone.. yet many say that it''s not clear. Kinda sounds like the florida butterfly ballots now, doesn''t it? You''ve had good ideas before.. but your constant bashing of people is what i hate. Not ONLY am I staff, and have moderator POWERS, I ALSO am a moderator for everything by default in addition to the designated moderators. So excuse me if I'm acting like I am a moderator for this board, because I AM.

And if you, Niphty, in your little world think that I am NOT a moderator here, then I won't rid you of your delusions. But you will still feel the effects of my NON-EXISTENT status as moderator.

Now, I will kindly ignore your comment about my supposed "stupidity".

Let me make something completely clear.

GameDev.net is owned by five people: me, Kevin Hawkins, Ernest "TANSTAAFL" Pazera, Mike Tanczos, and John Munsch. This site is here because we have spent thousands of hours creating it. We have been involved in game development sites for a LONG time, and have guided this site according to what we think works well based on our extensive experience.

The five of us have the title GDNet Staff next to our names. Since we own the site, you'd damn well better believe we reserve the right to edit anything that is posted here that we think does not belong on our site. jhky is one of two people to whom we have extended staff privileges to, even though she is not an owner. She has those privileges because she has been helping us extensively behind the scenes, but more importantly, because she is an intelligent, talented member of the community who shares our vision of what the site will be.

In other words, being on staff DOES mean she's a moderator, and it DOES mean she has power to do anything at all (because we trust her not to abuse it).

I've purposely stayed out of these discussions because I don't think it's my place to take a side (although I wholeheartedly agree that personal attacks do NOT belong here, and I support any action to remove them). However, I will not tolerate any attacks against a member of the staff. Show some respect.
